Trusted teacher: Share a vocal technique based on the organic functioning of the body and its possibilities of producing a free and healthy sound. Each session is adapted to the specific needs of the student, to respond to technical problems of emission or interpretation and always keeping our relationship between body and voice. The objective is to acquire effective vocal flexibility in order to achieve the envisaged sung voice quality. Through a multidisciplinary methodology, we will be able to discover and stimulate the possibilities of your voice applied to the style of your desire (Pop, lyric / classical, Broadway or musical, variety, jazz, current song, etc.). These courses are aimed at all levels (From beginners to confirmed) and from 10 years old. The session is divided into 3 parts: -Warming up and work of the breath: We will work starting from exercises of bodily technique to reach a physical availability and a concentration centered on oneself and the present moment. The goal is also to release our daily tensions and resume an active posture by linking the pleasure of freedom and muscle relaxation to the work of singing. To this work we will add different breathing and breathing exercises, to start activating and mastering the way in which we accompany the release of our raw material when singing: air. The work of abdominal breathing is encouraged throughout the session. -Vocalize and affirmation of a healthy vocal technique: Through different vocal exercises, the student will work consciously to learn to recognize his bodily sensations, for the acquisition of a vocal technique based on pronunciation, breath as well as '' a work of resonance to allow a natural amplification. Listening to the teacher is important to guide a healthy program in order to avoid taking bad habits and to develop a solid technique that leads to student autonomy. - Musical piece and practice: Taking into account the musical and artistic desires of the student, we will work on songs and songs (in accordance with his level) to put into practice all the work undertaken during the session. The purpose of this work is to constitute a repertoire which is specific to the student and which guarantees him a free and comfortable vocal practice between the different musical works. Thus, we will work on the interpretation of the pieces, with the different nuances of styles, accompanied by a work of the lyrics in the phonetics of different languages (English, Spanish, French, Italian, German) while keeping a voice that is clean to the student. The most important thing is that the student acquires the technical tools and means to achieve his musical ideals, while retaining his bodily freedom and the joy of singing. Voice Coach and Spoken Voice. Work of the spoken vocal technique for the professionals of the voice: Teachers, actors / actors, business leaders, presenters on radio or TV, elected officials, speakers and all other professionals who use their voice at work, as well as those who s 'are interested in deepening the relationship and understanding their voice and its potential. Accredited by the Center for Studies on the Use of Voice (CEUVOZ), I will offer you the Linklater Method - “Freeing the Natural Voice” as a means of technical work for the study of the spoken voice. This method aims to make participants aware of their own postural, muscular and respiratory habits, in order to discover other physical, vocal and expressive possibilities. The work, based on the body, aims for emotional freedom, finesse of impulses and clarity of thought, fundamental elements of effective communication. Through a series of exercises, the participants will go through the following stages: awareness of the body, breath, vibrations in the body and relaxation of the tensions of the phonatory channel to then restore free access to the resonators, develop respiratory capacity, widen the vocal extension until reaching the articulation of the voice in speech. The objective is to free your own Natural Voice from restrictive tensions and communicative habits, in order to find your voice with all its content (emotions, thoughts, sensations).

Trusted teacher: Graduate in Performing Arts from TAI University Graduate in Psychology with a Master’s in Music Therapy from UNED Specialized jazz studies at Berklee College of Music and Escuela de Música Creativa Studies in singing styles and vocal physiology at Nina Academia Vocal recovery training with LaxVox at Aurea Speech Therapy Clinic I have been studying opera and classical singing since the age of 12, as well as jazz, choral, and musical theater singing. I have been performing in musicals since 2015. These studies have given me a wealth of tools to adapt to what each student needs and wants, because the most important thing is that we never stop enjoying music. My classes are based on three core principles. The first is having a clear method, rooted in the real functioning of the voice—its physiology (what science tells us about how we use the body to sing)—and applicable to anyone, step by step, with logic. I always prioritize the student’s vocal health and rely on scientifically proven methods. I use simple language, without unnecessary technicalities, so everything is easy to understand and makes sense. The second is the emotional and psychological aspect. For me, connecting with the person in front of me is essential—understanding how they think, how they perceive themselves, what blocks them, and what motivates them. This way, I can adapt the classes to their personality and goals. I try to create a relaxed environment based on respect, trust, and a little humor, where everyone feels free and comfortable. We aren’t all born with the voice we wish we had, but we can all develop what we do have—and on that journey, singing becomes a way to know and accept yourself better. And the third is the dedication and professionalism with which I approach this work, which I am truly passionate about. All classes are divided into a warm-up and vocalization section, followed by work on a chosen piece suited to the student’s level and preferred style. Regardless of style or level, a foundation in classical singing will always be established.

Trusted teacher: I teach and research math at Basel University. I offer math lessons at my place or at your place, the target audience is mainly first and second year university students in math or engineering. I am also considering other requests. Experience: -Many private lessons of all ages and for a long time. -Assistanat analysis I and II for the engineering section and the maths section (so I did some exercise sheets, course reminders or some points, and the work of "tutor" at the epfl, ie the help during exercise sessions). (Several years in a row). - Assistantship in more advanced courses, for example "Sobolev spaces and elliptic PDE" (Master course), functional analysis II (master course), Dynamics and bifurcation (3rd year of License) -Prof at the University of Basel for a number of courses, undergraduate and graduate (Fourier analysis, algebra, analysis, partial differential equations, etc.) My CV: -Ranked in the Mathematics Olympiad at the age of 15 -Prepa (French system) to Louis Le Grand in Paris. -Diploma of the Ecole Normale Supérieure (License and master, maths / info) -Diploma of Oxford University (Master, Maths) -Thesis at the epfl Most: -I know very well the students of this age, the requirements as well as the program. In 2016/2017 I was assistant in charge of the engineering analysis course at EPFL, and the student analysis course in mathematics at EPFL (second semester). In 2017/2018, I was responsible for the two analysis courses (first and second semester) of students in mathematics at EPFL. I am responsible in 2018/2019 for the third year course "Sobolev spaces and elliptic partial differential equations". As a young person, I am aware of the difficulties encountered by students (concerning programs but also stress, and the difficulty of passing an exam). I also see students during exercise sessions as well as individually in my office for questions about the course etc. -I am aware of the requirements of the program, which is expected in these streams since I am responsible for the worksheets and exam correction. I took part in the writing of the exams for students studying engineering and mathematics and decided the scale. (followed by a consultation with teachers and other assistants for the courses with a large number of students, eg 180 for mechanical engineers). I would like to point out that these courses are not necessarily reserved for students in difficulty.

Trusted teacher: Guitarist, singer, poet, composer, performer ... and with 20 years of teaching experience, I am happy to share my experience and my know-how: both from a technical point of view (musical knowledge, instrumental or vocal technique ...) than from a more global point of view: expressiveness, body awareness, confidence, creativity ... What interests me above all is to guide you towards more relaxation and confidence as well as autonomy with his or her instruments, to accompany his curiosity, to develop his musical sense and give him the means to go towards the music (s) that attract him. I like to work from what touches you: welcome to those who know what pieces they dream of playing, what style they like!!... instrumental technique and music are learned all the better through what we like (starting from learning a piece to learn a rhythm, reading new notes, knowing more about a style of music, the form of music, etc.) VOICE RATING I propose : - singing lessons: whatever the repertoire targeted, become aware of your body and the vocal gesture, through vocal and body games bring more naturalness and at the same time more control with your own voice; - vocal and psycho-bodily coaching: specific training aimed at building confidence with one's own voice and expression; I also support in the preparation of concert or recording: mastery of voice and breath (!), Interpretation, pronunciation, staging; VERSATILITY and CREATIVITY! I support all projects that need a guitar AND a voice: - do you want to sing along? I teach what is missing in guitar, what is missing in vocals and I have a toolbox today full to facilitate the coordination of the two! - do you want to compose, write songs, or do you have texts but not the chords, you have the melodies but not the words? ... Do you feel stuck in some part of the process? I can help you unwind the thread of your creativity, better understand your gestures, your "dough", find new paths etc ...

Trusted teacher: I specialise in taking your English from functional to precise, persuasive, and professional in the moments that matter to you: job interviews, academic presentations, subject-specific exams, and high-stakes conversations. ** MY APPROACH IS PERFECT FOR ** **Goal-Focused Learners** You have a clear, specific target (job interview, subject-specific exam, or social situation) and want efficient lessons built around that one goal rather than generic textbook units. I quickly diagnose your starting point and design a focused plan so every session moves you measurably closer to that outcome. **Learners Seeking In-Depth and Nuanced Feedback** You already communicate well in English but want to refine argument, tone, and style so your rhetoric is precise and powerful. We dig into structure and word choice, and you get detailed, line-by-line feedback that turns “correct” English into compelling English. **STEM students & corporate professionals** You work in a technical or business environment and need your English to match your expertise. Drawing on my experience in tech and corporate strategy, I help you refine the vocabulary, jargon, and communication patterns you use in reports, slide decks, emails, and meetings so you sound as confident and credible in English as you are in your field. ** TEACHING ETHOS** I have lived and worked in 7 countries and self-taught 3 languages so I have strong sense for the situations where complete confidence in a new language is critical: being able to quickly and fluidly reply in a social setting, using the appropriate jargon to convey complex ideas in an academic settings, confidently asserting your opinions in a business meeting, navigating bureaucracies in your new home country, ensuring that job applications and interviews genuinely reflect your abilities. I also understand the effort and opportunity cost that can go into making time to study a language and, having been on the other side of this platform looking for tutors in German, I appreciate the leap of faith when choosing a tutor. As a result I am committed to delivering you the best value for money lesson with high-impact and targeted learning strategies which set you up to continue progressing until our next session. More on our lesson structures below. ** ABOUT ME ** - I am a native English speaker from New Zealand with excellent academic writing skills and deep appreciation for the finer points of the English language. I have won several speech awards and an NZQA scholarship for Literature. - Scored 97th percentile for Verbal Reasoning on GRE & 94th percentile for Critical Reading on SAT. - Former executive for a fortune 500 company and worked in tech development for many years (SpaceX research grant, patent for computer vision) - B.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign - Current graduate student in Science and Technology Studies at TUM - Experience tutoring academic writing and physics, mentoring elite students, and coaching students in various competitive environments ** TEACHING STYLE ** - My teaching style is calm, organised and collaborative. In our first lessons I like to “diagnose” what scenarios or milestones matter to you and what is really blocking your English. - Based on the scenarios and milestones we will work with role play those exact situations and work with real-life texts (meetings, errands, presentations, phone calls etc) so I can explain why some phrases and structures work better than others, and then we can practise them until they feel natural. - Based on the blockers we can zoom in on the problem areas—whether they be vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar habits, or structural uncertainty—and then build a simple, efficient plan to fix it. ** LESSON STRUCTURE ** In our first lesson we will talk about your goals, current level, and one concrete situation or text that matters to you (a presentation, interview, exam, email, or everyday scenario). We will do a short diagnostic (speaking and, if useful, a short piece of writing) and then design a study plan that fits around your schedule and focuses on the skills you actually need rather than generic textbook units. Typical lessons include a mix of: - Roleplaying specific situations with clear feedback on pronunciation, rhythm and natural phrasing - Discussing texts which require defending an opinion using vocab and rhetorical techniques specific to your goals - Focused examination of problem areas to identify underlying misunderstanding or pattern - Spaced interval repetition of mistakes from previous weeks - If applicable: Academic or professional writing support; targeted grammar and vocabulary work; exam preparation including test strategies and timed practice using real tasks - After each session you leave with a short, realistic practice task and clear notes, so you know exactly what to focus on before our next lesson.

My teenage daughter studied English with Amalia, and I can give only very positive recommendations. Amalia was always very helpful, dedicated and patient. She coached my daughter before each school test to get her better prepared. I could see that my daughter welcomes each lesson, which is totally a credit to Amalia's teaching style. Amazingly, Amalia was giving me as a parent a feedback after each lesson on how it went, what they were focusing on and how my daughter was prepared for that. Such ongoing feedback to the parent of a teenager is a great relief! Should we need more support next year,we will definitely contact Amalia

Liam is honestly great. He is very genuine, puts me at ease + extremely well prepared - he comes with a plan and exercises specific to my goals. He was so quick at spotting exactly where I was getting stuck and then focusing on those bits. He keeps a list of areas of improvement which we review and then shares all this lesson material afterwards.
