Daniel ------------------ - My students' opinions - (translated in English) "My daughter Louane (10 years old) has been taking piano lessons with Daniel for 8 months now, and the progress she's made is incredible. She really enjoys playing, and it shows in her motivation and consistency. What we particularly appreciate is Daniel's gentleness and kindness, as well as his teaching style, which is very child-friendly. Louane can choose the pieces she likes, which makes her even more involved, and music theory is naturally integrated into the learning process. It's an approach that's both fun and effective. Thank you for your patience and your infectious passion!" - Nathalie C. "Excellent teacher, excellent teaching style! My son has progressed much more this year than in previous years. Daniel is patient and adapts to his student's needs. I recommend him 100%." - François M. "After playing the piano for 4 years and then stopping for 21, I decided to take piano lessons with Daniel since August 2024. I quickly noticed progress and I recommend him for his professionalism, kindness, and friendliness. I also appreciate being able to choose the pieces I want to learn." - Marjolaine.

Trusted teacher: I am a professional freelancer violinist, based in The Netherlands, passionate in my job as a teacher and as a performer. In terms of education, I have the Degree in Classical Violin and three masters in violin playing, from Katarina Gurska (Madrid, Spain), Prince Claus Conservatory (Groningen, Netherlands) and The Hague Royal Conservatory (The Hague, Netherlands), Throughout my whole education I have always chosen teaching electives and internships. Have you always wanted to play the violin? Or maybe your child is into music and would love to learn to play an instrument? Then, this might be a great opportunity for you to fulfill that desire. If on the contrary you are an advanced student, I would love to help you build solid technique and support your own musicality. On the other hand, I do love all kinds of music. I am happy to work with you in Pop or Folk songs for example. I did play many years in Pop and Folk bands and groups when I was living in Spain and have quite some experience in teaching this music as well. Every individual has different needs and goals and as a teacher I work together with every student, giving them the tools, knowledge and support they need to reach those goals. David

rating green star
I had previously played some classical for a few years, but was looking to learn jazz piano and improvisation as well. For this David is ideal, as he studied both as a classical and jazz musician, and has a deep understanding of each. About half the lessons we focus on jazz improvisation. During the lessons I improvise over a few songs, and each session he gives feedback, while adding a new layer of difficulty. We've also worked a lot on rhythm, which has really helped me bridge the gap between classical and jazz. We spent a few lessons on classical pieces as well, to refine technique and musicality. My playing feels much more fluid and musical already, and he's really helpful/knowledgeable with the details. Also, on the weeks where I did have not had much time to practice, we do a more (jazz) theory oriented lesson, which has also helped alot with my improvisation. Overall, I only have positive things to say about the lessons! David is a very easy-going teacher, and from the first lesson I felt very comfortable asking him questions. He's very versatile as well, and easily adapts the lesson according to what suits us best that week.

Laura

We feel so lucky to have found Laura as my daughter’s violin teacher. Not only is she a skilled musician, she’s a wonderful instructor who is able to effectively engage with young kids (my daughter was four when she started lessons). I’ve observed Laura as both structured and flexible — her lessons are planned with purpose, but she also has back-up ideas if a kid’s energy isn’t a good match for the day’s agenda. I love seeing my daughter’s skill and confidence grow in such a warm, supportive learning environment. I wholeheartedly recommend lessons with Laura for any child interested in exploring the violin!

Germán

rating green star
Germán is a great teacher and also fun to work with. He first carefully diagnoses strengths and weaknesses and then designs tailored exercises around the learning needs and gives concrete feedback and shares vocabulary tips. If you search someone to better understand homework/grammar exercises or someone for stand-alone private classes, German is your guy for both. He can explain grammar or improve conversational skills. Before our private lessons, I took courses at the Cervantes institute and my professor there also respected him a lot for his teaching methods and knowledge.
