Mouad - Nice36€
Trusted teacher: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👨‍🎓 With 4 years of experience in distance education, I am a mathematics teacher specializing in support lessons and private lessons. I also teach physics-chemistry and scientific subjects in general. I hold a Master's degree in Operational Research (Applied Mathematics) and I have been teaching private lessons for more than three years, mainly mathematics for middle and high school levels. ✏ I have taught students from various schools, whether public, private, following the French program (mission), Belgian, Swiss, Spanish (students from French-speaking or English-speaking Spanish schools) or American. In summary, all French or English programs. ✏ I support students from A to Z in all stages of their learning, using a simple, innovative and effective methodology: explanation of lessons, summary of lessons, application and deepening exercises, etc. ✏ I also prepare students for exams and competitions. ✏ I also support students with their homework (homework help). ✏ All my students have made extraordinary progress and achieved their goals, with grades of 16, 17, 18 or 19 out of 20. The sessions generally take place as follows: 1️⃣ The first sessions are mainly aimed at assessing the level of the student in order to identify the shortcomings observed. 2️⃣ Then we make a plan to fill those gaps: number of hours of work needed, parts of the lessons to focus on, lots of training and development exercises, etc. 3️⃣ We make sure to stay in regular contact with the student's class teacher to monitor their progress and align our work with what is being taught in class. 4️⃣ Then I provide exams similar to what may be offered in class. 5️⃣ Upon request, I write a monthly report to keep parents informed of their child's level throughout the course. I also adapt my methodology according to the needs of each student, which means that everyone has a personalized working method adapted to their needs! I also offer crash courses for those preparing for the start of the school year, so that they start the year well prepared 💪 and with a head start on the program.🧠 💭 If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me ;)

Trusted teacher: Hello ! After a preparation, Ecole Polytechnique, a M2 Neurosciences, 5 years of Medicine, I was a math teacher, and I worked ... in a climbing room! I have chosen to be 100% special teacher for high school students, and prepare a school coaching and orientation training to better support my students. And above all, do it with a smile. More details below! ________________ My approach In science, of course, there is know-how. From experience, the most important is to (re) build a solid foundation, starting by filling in the 'gaps' which no student spares! Then, we can gradually attack the method in order to gain height and calmly approach any exercise, instead of wading in circles in its calculations. Finally: rigor, writing, perfectionism. All of this will be our work together. But, in my eyes, the main thing is the way: it is about doing it with pleasure, in a fun way. My explanations are often simple, visual, taking often bizarre examples to get out of school and better retain. From pain to excellence: it's possible in just one year! My pedagogy is based on many inspirations: coaching, positive psychology, maieutics, bottom-up, reverse pedagogy, gamification, etc. In short: each session is unique, and you nourish it as much as I do. For examples, they will come from your areas of interest, or from my experiences: engineering, medicine, neurosciences, computer science, economics, entrepreneurship, sport, games, dance ... I always try to give back to the sciences their primary function: to be just a tool to approach the real. ______________________ Levels and subjects I chose to work mainly with high school students, in order to fully master the reform programs: - 4th / 3rd: Maths / PC for high school - 2nd: Maths / PC - 1st: Ens. Scientist / Maths (special) / PC (special) / NSI (special) - Tle: Ens. Scientific / Maths (compl., Spé, exp.) / PC (spé) / NSI (spé) - Competitions, Examinations, Upgrades: on a case-by-case basis, after studying your program, without (too much) exceeding the bac level. _______________ Organization Each month, the invoice is accompanied by a follow-up report in which I detail our work, session by session. I remain available between lessons for the student (emergency or question) and the parents (often worried!). I really know the personality and issues of each of my students, from their passions to their relationship with fraction bars. _____________________ Covid-19 period ... During confinement, I continued to monitor my students in video with professional equipment (Surface Pro + stylus, Rode microphone, Skype, Discord, shared whiteboard, etc.). Some even preferred this format, the best of which I have saved for the future at your home! Video will however remain reserved for exceptional situations, due to my SAP approval. I adapt of course to your health choices, with at least distanced greetings and hydro-alcoholic hands. _________________________ First course The trial course (1h30 +) : it is above all a question of seeing if the current passes between us, because that is the most important, right? We take this opportunity to clarify your expectations and think about the best possible organization. Contact me via Apprentus for a first meeting!

My research and teaching interests are diverse, including: • Additive manufacturing • Mechanical metamaterials • Acoustical metamaterials • Electromagnetic metamaterials • Aeroacoustics • Soft matter and soft robotics • Fatigue and fracture mechanics • Experimental mechanics • Multiscale numerical modelling • Biomaterials • Porous materials • Manufacturing of medical devices and implants • Deep learning • Image processing • Topology optimization • Origami and Kirigami structures • Self-folding and self-assembly structures • Tissue engineering • Permeability in porous materials • Fluid-Solid Interaction I understand that not all teachers excel in teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and explaining their importance to students. Courses with strong mathematical backgrounds may become boring for students who lack a solid mathematical basis. To address this, I take a student-centered approach, starting from the basics to actively engage all students, including those with weaker mathematical backgrounds. I also provide practical examples to demonstrate the real-world significance of what they are learning, inspiring and fostering their interest in the subject matter. If you have any additional questions before starting a class, please feel free to ask me. I am here to assist! :)

Trusted teacher: Hi, My name is Jeremy and I have a Master's in Physics with honors from the University of Leicester (which was featured as a top 5 Physics university in the UK by The Guardian) and a - french - European School diploma in which I achieved 90% in Physics and 85% in Maths. Helping others understand difficult topics and skills is something that I am very passionate about as an empathetic person. I have experience teaching Physics and Maths to kids from unprivileged backgrounds at the homework school in Saint-Gilles (CASG du Service Social Juif asbl) as well as 4 years of private teaching. In my classes, I aim to: - help students achieve better grades in exams/tests in all branches of Physics & Maths - clearly explain and break down topics - give context and or example applications of topics (to improve understanding and memorization) - help with ADHD & other learning disabilities - give practical advice for university applications (eg. UCAS in the UK) and discuss the exciting Physics research/work and projects you can work on later in life Physics has a plethora of useful and fascinating applications, from the detection of Gravitational Waves and Gamma-Ray Bursts to the development of novel Medical Imaging techniques and Nano-technology (eg: smartphones). It is a subject that I am very passionate about and I hope to make use of my years of experience and extensive knowledge to help you understand and love the subject! My lessons will always be tailored to the individual needs of the student, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions!

Mouad

rating green star
Mouad is a fantastic teacher. He has a very professional approach to what he is doing. He knows how to work with younger students. He can quickly position student's knowledge and has the flexibility to follow the required curriculum. He also knows how to build the confidence of the student himself what is extremely important in case of students who had bad experience with the subject in the past. Mouad communicates fluently in French and English. He is always on time and well prepared for classes. He also gives feedback after the lessons. We will definately continue classes with him. My son is making good progress in Mathematics while working with Mouad.

Excellent teacher. I took Linear Algebra classes from Bibek. He came to the lessons always prepared beforehand which made the learning process a lot smoother and easier for me. He didn't only go through each concept and topic in detail but also made sure to illustrate every concept with supplementary exercises. His patient and detail-oriented teaching style helped me learn the core concepts of linear algebra from scratch. I am pretty sure one doesn't come across such a kind and understanding tutor that often. Thank you very much again Bibek for all your efforts!

Benson

After my first lesson with Benson, i have felt more confidence in my skills with chemistry than i have in many years. Where I previously felt very subconscious and unable to answer questions, i have now been able to answer difficult IB exams questions with ease. Benson provided me a safe and comfortable environment which has left me excited for my next class at school to show what i have learned with a fresh confidence! I highly recommend this tutor to anyone who struggles with confidence in both themselves and their subjects.
