Accordion is a versatile instrument, used across both folk and classical traditions. In this course, I offer personalised accordion lessons tailored to your level, goals, and musical interests.
I specialise in both button accordion and piano accordion, and I work with students who are complete beginners through to more advanced players looking to refine technique, musicality, and repertoire.
My teaching approach is supportive and flexible. I combine practical playing with a strong focus on listening skills, musical understanding, and expression.
Lessons can include:
Basic technique and posture
Learning tunes and repertoire
Reading music and/or playing by ear
Rhythm, timing, and musical expression
Music theory and understanding what you play
Building confidence and performance skills
Each lesson is adapted to your personal goals, whether you'd like to explore pop songs, folk songs, or classical. My aim is to make learning the accordion enjoyable, structured, and inspiring, while helping you make steady progress at your own pace.
