I think this is because there's no other way to improve in English conversation than actually engaging in English conversation! This class is for anyone who wants to learn English with a focus on English conversation. I have a lot of experiences in teaching English but don't have professional license in teaching, which is why my classes might be priced a bit lower than some others. However, I am definitely a native speaker :) and really do have passion for teaching and empowering people. I've also been in business world since 2009 - I am a CPA so I can teach business English as well as business English usage in email communications. I have been lucky to have spent my life in various places around the world - Korea, US, Japan, and now Australia - and would love to connect with people from different places. I am a student at Bocconi University and I am here to make life easier in maths, English and French for all middle and high school students who have difficulties in these often distressing subjects. Mathematics or secondary language courses such as English or French are often hard to understand in classes of 20-30 students in middle and high school, despite the importance of these subjects. Concerning mathematics, I myself have already had difficulty understanding mathematics but I developed a taste for it thanks to passionate and very educational teachers. I therefore put myself in the place of students who encounter certain difficulties in these subjects and I help them to understand by resuming the course and doing exercises with them until they manage to do the hardest exercises without difficulty. . For English, I had an English and French education throughout my schooling because I obtained my French baccalaureate with international option (OIB), which since this year has been called the BFI (international French baccalaureate) with 17/20 . I can therefore teach English as a secondary language and also give OIB/BFI, IGCSE and Cambridge lessons. For French, my mother tongue, I can teach it academically as a secondary language or in a more literary way because I have in the past helped some students for their French baccalaureate, in which I obtained 18/20 and 20/20.

Rayen made an effort to contact me prior to the lesson to determine my level and inquire what I wished to focus on. She also called at the agreed upon time. These may seem like minor details, but not all teachers do these. She had appropriate level material ready to share and go over for the lesson. She made corrections as needed and readings were repeated as necessary. My only suggestion would be that she speak a bit more slowly. but this is a matter of individual taste.

My 10 year old daughter has had 3 lessons with Jo so far and she is begging me to continue as she enjoys her lessons with her so much. Jo is very well organized, responsive to the child's learning needs and makes sure that her lessons are not only well organized but also fun. She makes an effort to connect with my daughter and engage with her in a motivating way. She is a fantastic teacher!
