Trusted teacher: I'm a certified Dutch as 2nd Language Teacher and will tutor both primary and secundary school children (7-18) who need/want to maintain their Dutch in view of a possible return to Belgium or The Netherlands or just want to talk to family and friends, as well as adults who need Dutch as a 2nd language for their job or partner/family. I use material as 'Taal Actief' en 'Taal op maat' (primary) and 'Nederlands in Gang' (adults) but also develop tailored excercises. I focus on grammar - spelling - vocabulary - pronunciation - conversation - writing - reading - preparation for CITO. I can also do correction and revision, review of papers and theses, translations. I can give tips for reading-material. I'm working as a teacher Dutch language and culture at FUNS (Dutch School) in Hellerup. In Belgium, I also taught introductory courses in Dutch as a 2nd language for foreign students and volunteered to teach Dutch as a 2nd language to parents of foreign origin. From this, I learned many different methods of teaching and learning Dutch, from young children right up to adults. I also have a background as a docent in Communication, Marketing, and Media at a University College in Belgium (students 18years +). Example course for adults: - Beginners crash course: 10 lessons of 3 hours with a basic understanding of Dutch (+ culture), most important spelling, pronunciation, and vocabulary for easy everyday use (shopping, transport, meeting people, numbers, weather, ...). - 20 lessons of 2 hours to bring you from level 0 to A1, or from level A1 to A2. - Easy pace, for those with limited time: one hour weekly during a whole year, to bring you from level 0 to A1, or from level A1 to A2. Example course for children: - basic: one hour weekly with a focus on reading and VOC, or on spelling and writing, or on comprehension (reading, listening). - 2 or 3 hours with break weekly: focus on reading and VOC, writing and spelling, and talking. Dutch culture during the break.

Private lessons to learn Japanese culture and language (Hettange-Grande)
For a long time I had been looking for a Japanese teacher in Luxembourg for private lessons until I found Maki-sensei. Her teaching style is really meeting my needs: she is encouraging me to talk more in Japanese while working on my vocabulary and grammar. She is using a range of teaching materials, such as text books, audio clips, short movie-clips, and articles from web-sites, which makes her lessons very enjoyable and rewarding. After the lesson Maki-sensei provides me with a write-up with newly learned words and corrections. I am always looking forward to the next lesson and strongly recommend her for anybody wanting to learn Japanese or about Japanese culture.

Cours FLE : apprendre le français par la culture et la conversation (Haarlem)
Best way to learn a laungage is from a native speaker. Rosa was very professional always arriving on time and having a clear plan on how the lesson will progress. She also sent me via e-mail links to websites were I could practice what I have learnt with exercises. I highly recommend Rosa to anyone who is looking for a professional, punctial and flexible teacher.

Paul is a professional with a high standaards and a deep understanding for the english language. He makes sure that the lessons are tailored to your needs and that you make progress. He has a comforting way of teaching, since practicing a foreign language can be a bit scary.
