This is a chapter of the class of premiere in the French system. It deals with polynomials of the second degree. We develop them using the discriminant. We learn to factorize, study the sign, find the roots and even solving equations . Iwill add more chapters for that class. This course introduces the notions of central symmetry and orthogonal symmetry. So we will learn the basic concept of symmetry about a point and symmetry about a line. The students particularly concerned are those in the fifth grade of the French-speaking education system. Of course, any other interested person would be welcome.
