In the Poetry workshop you will learn the basics of writing poetry. The form, the content and the theme are widely discussed. But we also discuss the history of literature, we pay attention to reading, and we analyze poems. After this workshop you will be able to write poems in a convincing way. Perhaps the poet also suffers as a Brabander in Amsterdam: no greater contrast than a warm Brabant village pub and the Hoppe café on Spuistraat. A beautiful book, beautifully arranged. After an initial hesitation about a melancholy that I mistakenly regarded as negativity, which I recognized too late, I read it with great pleasure and sometimes emotion.
