I am a science enthusiast with a particular interest in physics, mathematics, and philosophy. I spend most of my time conducting research in physics, but I also believe that education plays an essential role in our society. Especially in the era of rapid AI development, the traditional teacher–student relationship has become more important than ever to ensure that learners acquire rigorous and in-depth skills.
For this reason, I am always eager to dedicate time to educating young people and sharing my passion for science. I find great fulfillment in helping students develop a solid understanding of scientific concepts and encouraging them to explore the world with curiosity and critical thinking.

I have graduated from University of Athens, with a Bachelor in physics specialising in Nuclear and particle physics. I have completed my M.Sc in Utrecht university in Theoretical physics and obtained Ph.D on quantum physics at Stockholm university.

I recently obtained my Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Stockholm University. Alongside my academic training, I have built up 10 years of teaching experience in physics and mathematics across a wide range of levels.
During my doctorate, I focused on remote private tutoring for middle and high school (ages 12–18) providing personalized guidance in physics and mathematics. This one-on-one and small-group format allowed me to tailor explanations to each student’s learning style and help them develop strong problem-solving skills and confidence.

I am specialized (>5 years of experience) in tutoring math for school (any level, but preferably higher level), including competitive exams such as the SAT, GRE, GMAT, and the IIT-JEE.

This class is aimed to train
1) high-school students undergoing VWO or an IB curriculum, who are having problems following math at school or university,
2) Anyone who wishes to take the VWO Math-A/B/C entrance examinations by Boswell or CCVX and wants to train for that.

Personally, I am currently working as a Quantitative Researcher of stock markets, and therefore analytical math is also a part of my job.

The classes could be rigorous or lenient depending on the student. There will be periodic homework and I'll make sure that the student achieves her/his desired goals.

Math, calculus and physics can sometimes be overwhelming, especially when the theory or solving method is unclear. I am a cum laude Aerospace Engineering graduate from TU Delft and have helped other pupils with their problems since 2017. With my calm and stepwise explanation, a second view of the solution procedure is given, which is often what is missing. In deze les wiskunde B leer je hoe je met behulp van differentiaalrekening de helling van een functie en het raaklijnvoorschrift bepaalt. We beginnen met het begrijpen van wat een afgeleide betekent en hoe deze samenhangt met de grafiek van een functie.

Vervolgens oefenen we met het berekenen van afgeleiden van veelvoorkomende functies, zoals veeltermen en eenvoudige samengestelde functies. Daarna passen we dit toe door de helling in een specifiek punt te bepalen en het bijbehorende raaklijnvoorschrift op te stellen.

De les is praktisch en stap-voor-stap opgebouwd, met duidelijke uitleg en gerichte oefenopgaven. Er is veel aandacht voor veelgemaakte fouten en examenvalkuilen, zodat je deze leert herkennen en vermijden.
