Hey There. I'm an Australian english teacher living in Torino. I come to you and we practice speaking. I have several years teaching experience and a degree in languages from Melbourne university.

I completed my BA in Languages. Melbourne University, Australia in 2012 way back when I wanted to be a writer. I also majored in Spanish languages and Hindi. I have a serious passion for languages

As a private tutor, my approach is based on three fundamental principles: listening, adapted teaching, and student empowerment.

1) Listening accompanied by kindness is the key to achieving understanding and learning.
- I then take care to identify the student's level by taking into account their strengths as well as their weaknesses.

- What is the goal the student wants to achieve.

2) A pedagogy based on kindness!
Methodology: I don't just teach "what to do," but more importantly, "how to do it." I then encourage the student to reformulate to ensure they understand.

3) Move towards student autonomy!
I make sure that the student feels confident in their learning: this will allow them to refine what they have understood. Afterwards, I will encourage them to reflect: to ask questions in order to encourage critical thinking and curiosity.
