In France for 10 years, I am a native of North America where I worked for more than 20 years in the fields of finance, accounting, insurance and banking. I am bilingual, so if necessary I can provide explanations in French about idiomatic subtleties or vocabulary.

Holder of a general baccalaureate, I would like to help the pupils having difficulties for one or more school subjects of the primary level or college. The course is either to help students with their homework or to work on these subjects spontaneously according to the needs of the child. I am available from June.

I offer three types of courses to choose from, so you can choose one course or choose two or all three. For English lessons: The objective is to improve your level of English on all points (grammar, conjugation, vocabulary...). The courses can focus on a specific area or on various and varied areas. The learning will be done by classic exercises (school types) but also by activities allowing a more interactive learning. For pupils or students, it will also be a question of reworking the exercises seen in class, revising for exams or controls but also working on the weak points. For science courses: The objective is to rework the different chapters seen in class, rework the science practicals as much as possible, prepare for exams or even prepare before the different start of the school year. By science we must here understand SVT, Chemistry mainly but also Physics and Mathematics. It is also a question of proposing different learning techniques in order to allow a better understanding of these subjects. For history lessons: The objective remains essentially the same as for science lessons. Indeed I propose to rework the different elements seen in class but also to prepare for the start of the school year and exams. I could work with the books provided by the school as support, but I would also work on books that I would bring back myself in order to avoid any additional costs. I am able to provide history lessons on all eras that can be addressed in class.

Mathematics, like the physical sciences, are sciences which result from logical reasoning but which often pose problems of comprehension for some pupils. So I will teach you reasoning methods to try to help you better understand and solve certain problems.

Listening and observing, I offer interactive tutoring courses for all levels or language learning. I am almost bilingual in English and have achieved very good results in all disciplines during my schooling. I am in terminal and I have tutoring during my high school years to help college students in difficulty. Indeed I like to help and teach. The lessons are made to improve and evolve I am not a supporter of by heart and prefer to make the student understand the concept with examples from everyday life.

I propose to give you economics courses (macroeconomics and microeconomics) of the high school type in order to be able to improve your skills for the baccalaureate. I am available to give Spanish and English lessons to students who have a college level (A2) and those who have a more advanced high school level (B1 / B2). I am a student in a legal-economic preparatory class, I passed an economic and social BAC. The aim of these courses is to help students overcome their shortcomings while providing them with a work methodology. My lessons are obviously based on the school program but I appreciate going further by bringing a general culture.

Je suis doctorante en Linguistique Cognitive au Laboratoire MoDyCo (Université Paris-Nanterre) et j'ai une expérience approfondie dans l'enseignement de la langue italienne. Je donne des cours privés d'italien depuis plusieurs années, j'ai été professeur d'italien dans plusieurs lycées parisiens (ex. Lycée Janson de Sailly, Lycée Duruy, Lycée Claude Monet) et j'ai l'habitude de suivre et de préparer des élèves pour les épreuves du BAC et les examens des certifications linguistiques. Je suis à l'aise avec tout type d'élèves: des enfants, des écoliers et des adultes. Je peux aussi donner des cours spécifiques (ex. apprentissage de l'italien pour questions professionnelles, développement exclusif des compétences orales ou écrites, etc.). Je base mes cours sur l’interaction avec les élèves et leurs besoins occupent la première place. La méthodologie que j'utilise vise à faire passionner l'apprenant de ce qu'il est en train d'apprendre, à le mettre mettre à l'aise, en évitant le plus possible des situations d'embarras linguistique, causées par exemple par un sentiment d'incompétence. Le choix de sujets à traiter peut être discuté et défini ensemble, ainsi que la "modernité" du matériel à utiliser lors des cours.

Hi there! My name is Magdalena. I am an experienced English as a second language tutor for kids ages 3-10. I started my teaching experience in a classroom and quickly moved to tutoring - I believe the best way for a child to learn is to feel comfortable and motivated to use their language skills by having a tutor that is fun, relatable and a friend.
