Chinese language for daily communication practice and listening

This is a practising-oriented course for students to practice their oral and listening skills. It is also designed for students from a very young age ( suitable for kids and adults).

For all aged students, the procedure is mainly carried out with daily communication dialogue, which encourages students to express their thoughts in Chinese.

For kids who are under 10 years old, the course is aiming at enriching the students' vocabulary and improving their speaking and listening skills (e.g. interesting stories, popular songs and poetries, help reading books are also considered to be a part of the course content). Different levels of courses are designed according to sepcific requirements of the students. Besides, assistance for Chinese - related homework is also provided.

For teenagers and adults, the course format is mainly as a conversation with friends in every course with different topics. New words and expressions can be obtained in a new topic which depends on the sharing thoughts on both ( the student and the teacher) sides.

I'm a native Chinese speaker and I'm qualified with a general Mandarine certificate in China.
I'm a master student at VUB currently and I'm willing to help foreigners to improve their communicating skills through daily conversations. When you are in the course, you are welcome to express your feelings and thoughts from your life, work, studying etc.
I'm outgoing and like to share different opinions, I take the course as entertainment to get different views from different people, you'll know when we start our courses :D

I have a very detailed knowledge of Chinese Mandarin having been eight times in China. At 20, I am a hyper polyglot with a knowledge of 28 languages, 12 of which I speak with a level above B2. I am now in Taiwan where I will take intensive courses in Mandarin Chinese and will come back on the 1st of February.

I spent two times on television (JT of the one and broadcast of what I mingle on RTL-TVI.

I am a French teacher. I have been teaching French, language, and communication since 2012. I speak Arabic, French, Spanish, a little English, and a little Turkish.
I explain my lessons in French, Arabic, or Spanish, depending on your choice.
During the sessions, I explain the course that suits your needs. There is also the option to create an open discussion so that you can speak fluently over time and avoid grammatical gaps.
And at the end of each session, I give "lessons" with "exercises" to do as homework to continue our support and increase your level.

As a language, Arabic may seem scary, whether you hear two people speaking it with a bit of an aggressive tone, or see the terrifying Alphabet being used and written in a different direction! However! Fear not! I can assure you, i felt the same way about Dutch, and was terrified to try and articulate the words and their meanings. However, after a year of going through a successful active learning course (which our classes will follow a similiar method to), and enough practice, i could confidently say i can hold my grounds, with the fear of the Dutch language being at bay !

In my 2 years of teaching experience, without the "over-use" of "English or other" languages and starting right from the beginning with Arabic, some students and friends of mine were able to speak Arabic with me, in addition to writing full essays, and even understood the general grammatical structure of the language, all of which took no more than a couple of months.

However, it is necessary to keep in mind that Arabic is the second toughest language to learn after Chinese "Mandrin", meaning that expectations should be kept realistic, with time and practice being key.A year should suffice someone to be able to claim that they are at a "A1-B2" LEVEL, which is almost in the intermediate Zone.

For our classes, THREE TYPES or METHODS could be chosen from:
1- The active learning extensive Method
2- The "school" Method
3- The "specific university subject tutoring" Method.

1- For the first and second methods, i will usually devise a specialized text book (Word/PDF, no need to hurt trees and print...) which will include all that we need throughout the course from necessary readings, literature, and grammar of the language. this book will be modified accordingly to the purpose of learning the language that you could clarify to me beforehand (whether academic in a specific field of science, or any other purposes...)

2- However, if your goal is purely conversation, and does not include learning proper Arabic (Fusha), the method of teaching differs a little. Here only the "school method" applies. Let me elaborate: In schools, we are taught to read and write "MUM, DAD" before we learn our ABCs, Thus "conversation" will be the main focus, accompanied by brief and on the surface piecing of the principles of the grammar, punctuation, and other related aspects whenever a new one is at hand.

3-Finally, if you are studying any of the Arts or Majors in University, and you need specific help concerning Arabic Subjects (Ba. Master. PHD levels), specific short classes, through the third method, will be offered, and through which we can: answer all your question, explain anything that you are having trouble with, and specific help that could also be offered according to your needs.

Arabic courses adapted to everyone's needs, the first module of 13 courses is already intended to identify the structure of Arabic, understand and read. Grammar is complicated I know, it is studied implicitly by a well thought out method, based on immersion and interaction and provided by an expert in the teaching of the Arabic language to non-Arabic speakers (children or adults).
