Ciao, ik ben Alessandro. Ik ben 33 jaar, woon in Leiden en kom oorspronkelijk uit Milaan. Ik ben taalkundige, afgestudeerd in Leiden, en geef al 9 jaar Italiaanse les. Muziek, geschiedenis en boeken spelen een grote rol in mijn leven en dat merk je ook in mijn lessen: taal is nooit los van cultuur, maar wordt altijd helder en toegankelijk uitgelegd.

I studied languages and literature in Milan and completed a Research Master in Linguistics at Leiden University. My studies focused on how languages really work and how people actually learn them. This academic background allows me to explain Italian clearly, calmly, and logically—without stress, confusion, or boring theory.

- I'm a professional Italian teacher from Italy, now living between Pisa and Rome. I have 10 years of teaching experience. I am very patient and I love to make a relaxed and friendly class environment. I have qualifications and experience teaching at different levels and in different contexts. I can help the student to improve the oral, written, and comprehension skills. Most important is that each course is based on the needs, interests, and availability of the student. If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you! I like to personalize each class/course according to the needs and goals of my students. My classes are focused on improving the student's communication skills. At beginner and lower intermediate levels, I prefer using a text book/ student book in the first part of the class. I usually use "Nuovissimo Progetto Italiano" and "Arrivederci" by Edilingua, or "Nuovo Espresso" and "Dieci" by Alma Publishing. For the second part of the lesson, I create engaging contents using original videos, press articles, extracts from blogs and social media, literary texts. If the students do not feel comfortable using Italian from scratch, I can switch to English, German, or Dutch. The course fee includes the correction of home assignments.
