Hello, I am a native Chinese speaker. I speak Mandarin, English, Teochew, Hakka, and Cantonese. My undergraduate and master's degrees are in International Chinese Language Education. I hold a junior high school Chinese language teacher's certificate issued by the Chinese Ministry of Education and an international Chinese language teacher's certificate issued by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education. I also have a Level 2A Mandarin Proficiency Certificate.

I have three years of university-level Chinese teaching experience. Currently, I live in Slovenia and primarily teach Chinese online.

I advocate for individualized instruction. My students have ranged from university students majoring in Sinology to elementary school students who started learning Chinese at age eight, to retired lawyers passionate about learning Chinese, and even chemistry students who became interested in Chinese culture through Chinese TV dramas. I develop diverse methods of teaching for the students. For the around 5-8 years old kids, I would like to set certain games to play with them, thereby the kids can learn the new language during the interaction and communication. In this way, different media, like color pictures, puppets, or storybooks are essential to make the course very attractive. For the teenager or advanced students, a structuralized teaching content based on scenarios or textbook could help the students to develop their language capacity efficiently in different aspects – listening, reading, speaking, and writing.
