In addition to discussion-based learning, the course provides one-on-one or small group essay tutoring to support students in articulating their thoughts through writing. I teach Davinci Resolve and Premiere Pro from beginner to advanced. In the beginner and intermediate courses, all the important basics are covered and practiced using practical applications. The advanced courses go into finer details, such as advanced editing techniques or shed light on specific processes such as proxy workflows or colour management. Structure: The technical lessons are structured in 1 hour modules, using practical examples and allow time for experimentation and questions. I also teach editing theory and creative strategies across many different genres and styles. These are less structured and are tailored to specific needs. Open Sessions are also possible, where you may bring along a personal project and I will offer you technical assistance, feedback or tips.

Full script course, from beginners to advanced, with techniques for searching for ideas, creating basic narratives that little by little can become more complicated; creation of plots and subplots, creation of characters from scratch. All this to establish the bases of the film and television script, how the narrative of said audiovisual products works and how they are created from the beginning until their start-up on filming with production companies.

I've designed this course to guide you as you delve into key aspects within the film world. Academically-informed and intellectually stimulating, the course encompasses the study of quintessential arthouse films, surrealism in cinema, the intersections between psychology and film, classical horror narratives, oneiric films, and more modules that will allow you to gain valuable knowledge of cinema at an academic level. The course has a clear structure and the activity will include online streaming of a carefully curated selection of films and clips, followed by in-depth analysis and interpretation. We will discuss underlying cinematic themes, psychoanalytical symbolism, stylistic categorisations, meta-references, the larger aesthetic value of the cinematic work, character development, feminist interpretations and critiques, and conceptual frameworks. This course will include several 90-minutes classes; the number of classes can be adapted depending on your interests, needs, pace, and existing knowledge.
