Highschool and Middle School Maths and Chemistry lessons from PoliTO student

No matter what you are planning on studying, you will come across maths and chemistry well into your studies. It is everywhere from engineering studies to computer sciences to even psychological studies. As both these lessons in many programmes are mandatory, passing them one way or another is a necessity. In our classes we will go-over each necessary topic and have monthly comprehension tests to determine if these topics were truly understood. Also mcq sessions or general question answer sessions can be done. For my qualifications: Though I am a younger teacher I have teaching experience in my home country Turkey. My Chemistry note is 28/30 and Math note is 27/30 in PoliTO.

I am a Turkish student studying in Politecnico di Torino. When it comes to communicating we can speak in Italian also but for teaching purposes I am not that adequate in Italian. I am a disciplined teacher who tries to truly get the most out of his students. Although I may seem inexperienced, with my background in Turkey and my compassion for making my students truly succeed in our subjects and school in general. I am more than willing to go the extra mile.

The English language is all around us. Wherever you look you can see English. In this globalized day and age speaking English has become a necessity and I am here to help you with that. While it may seem difficult and scary at first I can assure you that with the right teacher it is a very easy task. I am an American born Turk who is currently trying to learn Italian so believe me I understand that it is hard but together we can conquer the languages and help you understand everything around a little bit better. Depending on the student I can adjust the focus of the lessons. I have procured an IELTS grade of 8.5 so I can be of great use for people who are not only trying to learn the language but aim to achieve a high IELTS or TOEFL grade. Good morning ! My name is Felix, I am 19 years old and I am French and Austrian. Currently in the second year of my bachelor's degree in Turin, I offer Mathematics, Geography and French courses for middle school, high school and L1 levels. Having always excelled in these subjects, I am enthusiastic about the idea of sharing my passion and helping other students to progress.

I offer private tutoring in Mathematics and Physics-Chemistry for high school students, as well as general academic support for middle school students (homework help, study methods, etc.). Only in French, Spanish or English. I am available for in-person lessons in Turin or online classes.

I adapt to each student’s needs and pace. In general, a lesson is structured in three stages:
1) Review of key concepts to ensure full understanding,
2) Application exercises to consolidate knowledge,
3) Further exploration if the student’s level and goals allow it.

I have several years of tutoring experience. For the past three years, I have been teaching middle school, high school, and preparatory class students in Paris.

As a private tutor, my approach is based on three fundamental principles: listening, adapted teaching, and student empowerment.

1) Listening accompanied by kindness is the key to achieving understanding and learning.
- I then take care to identify the student's level by taking into account their strengths as well as their weaknesses.

- What is the goal the student wants to achieve.

2) A pedagogy based on kindness!
Methodology: I don't just teach "what to do," but more importantly, "how to do it." I then encourage the student to reformulate to ensure they understand.

3) Move towards student autonomy!
I make sure that the student feels confident in their learning: this will allow them to refine what they have understood. Afterwards, I will encourage them to reflect: to ask questions in order to encourage critical thinking and curiosity.

5) Guide learning through play: Mind maps, diagrams, analogies, little games, etc.

In short, I see my role not as that of a "lesson giver," but as a guide who accompanies, stimulates, reassures, and enables the student to learn on their own. The ultimate goal: that they no longer need me.
