I offer personalised tuition in Maths and Sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) for students following the British curriculum, including 11+, 13+, IGCSE and MYP. My lessons focus on building strong conceptual foundations, developing analytical thinking and refining exam technique.
Each session is tailored to the individual student. I begin by identifying knowledge gaps and areas of uncertainty, then structure lessons to strengthen understanding step by step. I place particular emphasis on clarity of explanation, methodical problem-solving and applying knowledge effectively in exam contexts.
In addition to subject teaching, I support students with revision planning, study skills and time management. I work with a wide range of learners, from those aiming to improve confidence and core skills to high-achieving students targeting top grades and competitive school or university entry.

About Me
I have been tutoring Maths and the Sciences for over 15 years, working with students from primary level through to IGCSE. Over that time I’ve supported more than a hundred students with very different personalities, strengths and goals. What I value most about tutoring is that it is personal — every student thinks differently, and I enjoy finding the approach that works best for each individual.
My teaching style is calm, clear and structured. I focus on building strong foundations so that students genuinely understand what they are doing, rather than just memorising methods. Once the logic clicks, confidence usually follows. Lessons are focused and purposeful, but also relaxed enough for students to ask questions and think out loud without pressure.
I work well with students who feel stuck and need to rebuild confidence, those who are capable but disorganised, and high-achievers aiming for top grades who want to refine their exam technique. I also have experience supporting students with ADHD and other learning differences.

Experience / Qualifications
For 11+ and 13+ preparation, I teach Maths, English, Science, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, comprehension and interview technique. I have prepared students for leading UK independent schools including St Paul’s, Westminster, Wycombe Abbey, Winchester, Sevenoaks and many others.
