I offer tailor-made support, defined entirely according to the student's desires and objectives and in all styles (Pop, Rock, Funk, Jazz, Classical...) My teaching is based around three fundamental axes: - The development of the (musical) ear - The transmission of practical and theoretical tools to expand the possibilities and freedom of play - The development of curiosity and fun with the instrument I like to get my students to push their limits by approaching learning in the form of games and small challenges. It is important for me that the student feels in an environment of exchange and without pressure. To do this, my sense of humor and listening will be used without moderation. ;)

I have had rich experience in chamber music accompaniment as well as and on piano performance . I gave private piano lessons in Shanghai for 6 years .

Hi there! I'm a professional flutist, musician since childhood, with many years of experience as a teacher. I gratuated from Conservatory of Parma (Italy), then I have done numerous specializations in high education institutions in Italy. I am also specialized in musical propaedeutics for children, in particular aged 3 to 5 years. Besides playing, I love teaching and the magic of music transmission. I design a personalized method for each student to be fun and challenging, both for beginners and for advanced level.

These lessons are for young and/or inexperienced singers. My lesson plans are tailored towards students' individual goals. For some, this may be learning and embodying an audition song for their school's upcoming theater performance, and for others voice lessons are a first step towards singing healthily in their church choir. In any case, I focus on correcting and building core skills necessary to singing one's best while encouraging and fostering creativity, accountability, and motivation. If considered for a long-term journey towards singing, I will focus particularly on classical techniques to build steady breath control, good posture, and proper vowel and consonant formation. Along with providing repertoire, if the student is ready and wants, there will be opportunities for vocal performance in the Santa Cruz area. I will encourage audio recordings in all lessons to help with future preparations. I will be assigning some homework after every lesson, likely a combination of vocalization exercises, dedicated sheet music practice, and theory homework (if needed). *My first lesson will involve getting to know the student, their goals, and some vocalization to assess vocal level. For singers with minimal/no prior foundational music theory knowledge, I may recommend time from lessons (15-30 minutes) being allocated solely towards foundational music theory learning.
