Hello ! My name is Camille, I'm 26 years old and I grew up in France, where I completed my violin training with soloist Marie Cantagrill. I then obtained my Bachelor's degree at the University of Arts in Graz (Austria), and I also studied for a year at the Academy of Music in Krakow with Professor Wojciech Koprowski. Currently, I am continuing my studies in violin pedagogy (IGP – instrumental and vocal pedagogy) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW). Thanks to my experience with teachers from various countries, I have acquired a lot of knowledge in pedagogy, study techniques, musicality, etc., which I would love to share with you! For me, it is essential to cultivate the pleasure of playing and to work on technique in the service of music. Courses can be given in French, German or English, depending on your preferences. Of course, I will make sure that you have fun and you stay motivated:) Probably what's special about my lesson is that we're also going to play duets, which should help you learn to listen to other musicians and acquire the skills needed for playing in an ensemble. In the long run: it's not just about learning the rules and correct techniques; it is also vital that you eventually learn to interpret the music on your own personal way by using your (musical) intelligence, and to have the confidence to break traditional norms. It is through the hands of artists who dare to experiment that music (like all art forms) becomes alive. Your (or your child's) age doesn't matter that much; it's never too late to start learning! As a composer, I develop my ideas through improvisation at the piano, which, trained through technique and knowledge, allows for a free discovery of one's own music. So you not only learn to play your favorite songs, but also to understand them and to come up with similar ones yourself. The lessons are completely flexible, and the focus is on fun and discovery. We can learn to play from sheet music or by ear. We can include harmony, rhythm, and ear training – whatever you prefer. I've been teaching since 2017 and am currently specializing in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
