About Me
I am a historian trained at King’s College London, currently completing an MPhil in Medieval History and preparing to begin an MLitt at the University of St Andrews. I also completed the IB myself, so I understand both the academic expectations and the pressure students face.
My teaching style is structured, analytical, and results-focused. I do not simply review content — I train students to think, argue, and write at a high academic level. In History, I focus on thesis construction, evaluation, historiography, and mastering command terms. In Literature, I emphasise close reading, conceptual interpretation, and disciplined essay structure.
I work best with motivated IB HL and A-Level students who want to move beyond average performance and aim for top-band results. Sessions are rigorous but supportive. My goal is to build independence, confidence, and the kind of analytical clarity that prepares students not only for exams, but for university-level study.
