Hello! My name is Marie-Jeanne and I have recently moved to Brussels from Switzerland. I was born and raised in South Africa and English is my mother-tongue. I speak a bit of French and I have started learning Dutch. I have had a multi-cultural upbringing and so I enjoy traveling and meeting people from different walks of life. I am curious by nature and enjoy helping others.
I’m a professional and patient teacher who is invested in the development of my students. My lessons are student-centered to maximize opportunities for learning. I aim for the balance between working at the student’s pace and providing enough challenge to foster meaningful progress.

I am an engineer, graduated from the Free University of Brussels. My experience in the field of private lessons began during my university studies where I provided a few hours of help with success in a homework school. Realizing the passion I had for teaching, I subsequently began giving private lessons to high school students. Quickly, my diary filled up and the results followed. 100% of the students I followed succeeded. Thanks to my work, students who were “doomed” to fail succeeded in their year.
Today, I am an analyst engineer and project manager in a large company. However, I also provide private teaching in mathematics, physics, chemistry and English. I teach students from 1st secondary to 2nd University.
