Hello! My name is Isabella and I am a language teacher offering Italian, French, and English lessons online.

I am a native Italian speaker, with a degree in Italian language and literature and a DITALS I certification. I have been teaching Italian for over four years to students of different ages and backgrounds.

I have also lived in France, where I pursued academic studies in literature at the University of Strasbourg. I hold a DALF C1 certification and have several years of experience teaching French to learners with different goals and language backgrounds.

In addition, I studied literature at Durham University and I hold an English certification at C1 level. I have been teaching English for several years, always adapting my lessons to each student’s needs and objectives.

I offer personalized lessons focused on grammar, conversation, speaking confidence, exam preparation, and language learning for travel, study, or work.

My teaching approach is communicative, supportive, and student-centered, with the aim of making learning both effective and enjoyable.

My name is Chiara, I'm a native Italian speaker, and I work as a freelance translator and interpreter. I have a Master's Degree in Specialised Translation.

I have been teaching Italian, French, Spanish, and English for over eight years to both adults and children.

In 2016/17, I worked as an Italian and Spanish teacher for adults at an Agency of the European Union while I was living in Strasbourg, France. In 2021, I expanded my experience and began working as an English teacher for primary school children of all ages at Educraft Language School in Bologna.

I fluently speak all four languages, and I use them in my everyday life since my clients come from all over Europe.

Of all the work experiences I have had, teaching children is definitely the one that satisfied me the most. I enjoy teaching bilingual children and helping them overcome the challenges that come with having a bilingual brain.
As a freelancer, I am very flexible in terms of working hours and can adapt to the student's needs and requests.

I have more than 5 years of experience when it comes to teaching English as a second language. My introduction to teaching was a volunteering project in a French high school, then it became my profession when I started working in a Hungarian language school. In the school I held business English and everyday English courses for all levels, mostly teaching small groups of adults. Apart from that, I also held private Hungarian and French lessons. Now I am working in a language school in Italy, as well as teaching online because I travel a lot, and working remotely allows me to keep doing what I love, from anywhere in the world.

When you become my student I will ask about your goals, assess your level, and recommend a course book based on your level and needs. In case you would only like to practice communication or wouldn't like to learn from a book, we can also simply talk and occassionally use some worksheets to make the lessons more varied and enjoyable. All my lessons are generally very communicative – I try to stay in the background and correct you when necessary, and guide you through the exercises instead of giving you the answers. From experience I know that real learning happens when you figure things out for yourself, and not when you are passively listening for your teacher's explanations.:)
