I offer Beginner to Intermediate Piano/Keyboard, Ableton Live, and Music Theory lessons for students of all age groups, conducted either at your home or remotely.

With a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance and Composition from the New Zealand School of Music (Victoria University of Wellington) and a DipABRSM in Piano, I bring over 15 years of experience as a professional musician in both classical and electronic music. My performance credits include collaborations with Shackleton, Strike Percussion, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, and Orchestra Wellington, as well as appearances at renowned festivals such as Berlin Atonal and Flow Festival.
What I Teach:

- Piano/Keyboard: From absolute beginners to experienced players seeking deeper musical expression, or for those learning piano as part of music production or purely for personal enjoyment.

ENGLISH-SPEAKING PIANO TUTOR

I teach adults of all levels!

I often mentor people who are just starting out, helping them develop their interest in the instrument and play the music they love.

A lot of students come in with anxiety about how good or fast they're going to be able to learn. I work to build a respectful, supportive environment where you feel comfortable developing and learning at your own pace.

For intermediate and advanced students, I teach with a particular focus on fundamental technique through études, and developing musicality.

Oftentimes, as hobbyists, we have holes from our early studies that prevent us from developing later in life. My aim is to help correct that. You should leave with renewed confidence to tackle pieces that have intimidated or eluded you in the past.

If I should describe my piano lessons I would say that they are very playful! The talking and theory is secondary, most important is to play and then see how to listen and adapt from there. My students have fun, they enjoy our lessons, otherwise they don't practise and make progress :)
It is important that our lesson is making you more independant and secure to play and understand music on your own! I have teaching experiences since fourteen years, I studied music education, piano, harpsichord which I will use for your understanding. This year I will only focus on teaching people over 12 years old. If you live 15minutes by bike from me, there is the possibility to come to your home. Otherwise I will be teaching in Universität der Künste or at my home.

We will work on several topics as recognition of the instrument, technique, reading, repertoire, harmony, ear training and composition among other topics. Hello there!

My name is Sara and I'm a classical pianist and piano teacher. I have been a pianist for about 15 years and started teaching it a while ago as well. I offer lessons in 3 different languages ( English, Arabic and German) for both beginner and intermediate levels.

I believe music should be enjoyed and comfortably played, allowing people to both connect with it and understand while challenging them to express themselves in new and different ways. Music lessons are fun and will be set to make the student confident and comfortable in their playing. If any student needs extra time or space to feel secure and safe, I will offer as much understanding and security as I can.
Trust is my number one motto, if for any reason a student feels pressured or uncomfortable they can come and talk to me directly and we shall figure out a way to make music learning fun and enjoyable for them.
