My name is Giustina,
I am an Italian native speaker based in Amsterdam with a strong interest in psychology, culture and science.

Over my career I had many students: my method is inspired to have fun while learning. I think this can be achieved by using power-point presentations, videos, conversation about topics you are more interested in. We can talk beforehand about what you expect and what are your goals and accordingly make your personal learning timeline.

My education
I studied Latin, Greek and Italian literature in high school.
Afterwords I moved to science and I specialized in Medical Biotechnology and Oncology. I have a PhD in Biochemistry.
I am now attending Psychology at VU University and improving my writing skills.

Whether you'd like to improve your speaking skills and break the language barrier or you wish to prepare better for an English exam, I come to an aid.

In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach. It is my belief that language is for people of every age and education, but I'm aware that everyone deserves a personal approach. In the first session, we always do a needs analysis and become acquainted, to make sure we click as people and will enjoy working away at your personal language goals.

Merhaba! I am an enthusiastic teacher who has been teaching Turkish for foreigners and children whose native language is Turkish but need to improve it. I’m a native Italian speaker, and I lived in the UK for eight years, where I taught Italian in individual, group, and online lessons. I have supported students preparing for A-Level Italian, professionals working with the Italian market, and people planning to travel or move to Italy.
