Piano is the instrument used by the romantics to make their most beautiful music, but also by the most experimental and modern composers to create their craziest music wonders. Isn't it a great instrument to play?

With more than 5 years of experience teaching in music schools and 15 years as a private piano teacher, I developed an efficient and "fun-but-efficient" way to teach how to play the instrument. Every student is different, which means the way to play and learn shall be different, making every single lesson special and rewarding.

I also offer the possibility of teaching in groups: if you want to know more about this option.

Hope to see you soon in our class!

Teaching the piano.
This is based on page reading, but also on improvising.
Some creativity is therefore desirable. There is room for your own input - and even for that - but you have to study. Supervisors are very welcome.

I am a well-prepared teacher and someone fun to study with. I have about 8 years of experience teaching all levels. I graduated from the Chicago College of Performing Arts, Roosevelt University and I currently study a master's degree in classical piano at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

I live in Ijburg and I have a wonderful Bösendorfer Grand Piano!

During my lessons, you will learn to perform the music that you dream and aim to achieve.

Whether you want to become a musician or not, my main goal is that you will learn healthy practice habits and foster values such as patience and discipline. These lessons will help you to tap into your mind to unwind from any obstacle; any achievements that you can make during my piano lessons will help you to achieve things in other fields.

Hi! My name is Eduardo, a professional musician and long-time music teacher. I am offering physical and online lessons in Music Theory, Improvisation and Instrument.
#Harmony #Composition #Solfège #Saxophone #Clarinet #Piano

Lessons are addressed to every student profile, regardless of age, level of expectations (no matter if it is seen as a hobby or rather if the individual is getting prepared for official Conservatory auditions, etc.).

We will play and/or focus on what the student is willing to deepen into (whatever music style they are interested in, more theoretical aspects or rather practical ones), trying to get the maximum profit of the employed time, and prioritising the actual learning of the person as the main factor for their motivation.

I obtained my Jazz Music Master's program at the Prince Claus Conservatoire of Groningen in June 2022.
Previously, in 2018, I graduated from my music Bachelor's at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona (Spain).

Dear reader, my name is Víctor.

I have more than 15 years of experience in music and teaching. In 2020 I obtained my Master's degree at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. As a teacher I am very flexible and adapt to the goal of each student. I teach amateurs, children and I can also help prepare entrance exams for conservatories.

I would say: take your chance to get lessons on a historic organ by making an appointment with me!

I give lessons (mostly 60 minutes long), which consists of learning proper technique and repertoire according to the student’s level and interest.
I focus on sight-reading, improvisation skills and techniques of accompaniment. My students will be able to read and play from sheet music and chord signs.
I look forward to the teaching process which broadens the horizons of both of us!

Since I was 6 years old, music has been an important part of my life and provided me with a way to creatively express my emotions, as well as with a resilient mindset. Through the exploration of music's interpretation and personal tastes in classical music, we will enrich your knowledge and create a unique path towards your own's objectives!

Hey there! If you have been thinking for a while about learning to play, improvise and read music scores on the piano, then this is the sign to start!

My name is Enrique and I come from Andalucía, Spain. I am a Classical Piano student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and I would be pleased to be your teacher. It will be great to teach you how to play your favourite music on the piano, but also about its language, reading and writing, that is, the music theory, or even how to start improvising your own music.

All of this is actually interconnected and it is interesting to combine them in teaching. I adapt to any age, level or taste (you may prefer classical, jazz, pop... everything is welcome!). Lessons can be taught in English or Spanish.

Thanks for your attention! Hope to help you soon ;)

Learning music is an enriching and fun activity, both for the skilled amateur as for the beginner, child or adult!
Besides the practical skills that one develops and can use for recreation, or the basis of future professional music studies, music stimulates the brain and can improve concentration, intellect, communication skills, etc...

Hi! I’m Didac Barber, a professional concert pianist and experienced teacher from Spain, now based in the Netherlands.

I hold a Master’s in Piano Performance from The Hartt School (USA) and trained at ESMUC Barcelona, studying with top international pianists like Adolf Pla and Luiz de Moura Castro. I’ve performed across Europe, the U.S., and Asia, and have taught piano for over 15 years — in conservatories, private studios, and internationally online.

My passion lies not only in performance but in helping students discover what they are capable of. I’m dedicated, empathetic, and patient — and I want you to enjoy your learning journey as much as I do sharing it.

Each student is different, and so are my lessons.
Whether you're just starting out or already preparing for auditions or performances, I’ll adapt the lesson to your goals, challenges, and musical taste.

We can work, all in a way that feels personal and motivating, on:
* Technique and sound production
* Repertoire (classical, contemporary, film music, etc.)
* Musical expression and interpretation
* Performance preparation (concerts, exams, auditions)
* Practice strategies and confidence-building

I’m here to help you be the best pianist you can be, whether that means mastering Bach or finally playing your favorite piece with confidence.

Lessons are at students home or online, and taught in English, Spanish, or Catalan, unfortunately not in Dutch for now.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions. I’d love to hear about your musical goals and help you reach them.
Let’s make music together!
