As someone who's been a Spanish learner for nearly ten years, I am here to help all sorts find their footing in their language learning career. In May of 2025, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. During my time at UWEC, I studied abroad in Valladolid, Spain, tutoring an advanced-level English learner, traveling the country, and forming a deeper connection with the language. I returned to Spain in July of 2024 to complete my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate by volunteering at a private language academy with students ranging from 3 to 12 years. Nick's approach is patient and thorough, informative and imaginative as well. He always comes up with his own examples in order to test my knowledge on a given exercise and helps me get to the answer at my own pace, rather than handing it to me. He doesn't use a one-size-fits-all method, but rather tailors his lesson in order to get out my full potential, even in a field I find difficult. He makes himself available for additional questions and is overall great to work with!
