Your kind words and detailed feedback mean the world to me and encourage me to continue sharing my passion for music. - About the Negative Comment - Regarding the only negative review: The student in question missed their first class due to sleeping in. Despite the platform's policy stating that no refunds are given for unannounced absences, I offered to provide a free replacement class at my earliest availability after the busy holiday season. Unfortunately, the student declined the date I proposed and suggested days that were outside my schedule. I had to suspend communication due to other commitments. On the initially proposed date—which had not been confirmed—the student expected a class and subsequently left a negative review. As a courtesy, I even refunded part of the fees (except for the non-refundable registration fee). - My Commitment and My Expectations - I am committed to providing high-quality lessons at an affordable price, supported by my professional experience and access to a new Yamaha YUS5 piano. My goal is to make music accessible to those who love it. In return, I ask that students respect my time and effort by adhering to agreed-upon schedules and communication practices. Mouad - Paris$43
Trusted teacher: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👨‍🎓 With 4 years of experience in distance education, I am a mathematics teacher specializing in support lessons and private lessons. I also teach physics-chemistry and scientific subjects in general. I hold a Master's degree in Operational Research (Applied Mathematics) and I have been teaching private lessons for more than three years, mainly mathematics for middle and high school levels. ✏ I have taught students from various schools, whether public, private, following the French program (mission), Belgian, Swiss, Spanish (students from French-speaking or English-speaking Spanish schools) or American. In summary, all French or English programs. ✏ I support students from A to Z in all stages of their learning, using a simple, innovative and effective methodology: explanation of lessons, summary of lessons, application and deepening exercises, etc. ✏ I also prepare students for exams and competitions. ✏ I also support students with their homework (homework help). ✏ All my students have made extraordinary progress and achieved their goals, with grades of 16, 17, 18 or 19 out of 20. The sessions generally take place as follows: 1️⃣ The first sessions are mainly aimed at assessing the level of the student in order to identify the shortcomings observed. 2️⃣ Then we make a plan to fill those gaps: number of hours of work needed, parts of the lessons to focus on, lots of training and development exercises, etc. 3️⃣ We make sure to stay in regular contact with the student's class teacher to monitor their progress and align our work with what is being taught in class. 4️⃣ Then I provide exams similar to what may be offered in class. 5️⃣ Upon request, I write a monthly report to keep parents informed of their child's level throughout the course. I also adapt my methodology according to the needs of each student, which means that everyone has a personalized working method adapted to their needs! I also offer crash courses for those preparing for the start of the school year, so that they start the year well prepared 💪 and with a head start on the program.🧠 💭 If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me ;)

Trusted teacher: My name is Andrey and I’m a French 🇫🇷 teacher living in Paris. My extensive experience allows me to vary my teaching styles. The communicative approach is the cornerstone of my teaching style but I also place a strong emphasis on pronunciation, especially when it comes to teaching French. For any language, I tend to select teaching materials that align with the student's personal or professional interests. Take a look at some of my reviews below (not all of them are here) and let them paint the picture for you. In terms of my background, I have degrees in teaching French and English, and I've also studied legal translation and IT law. I've been immersed in language teaching for nearly 13 years now. My passion lies in both learning and teaching languages. I can also help you study for your DELF-DALF diplomas to validate your French learning. I worked with English-speaking executives from various private and public institutions, including banks and government administrations. They all now speak French. I know how to quickly adjust to changes in teaching methods depending on your goals. Whether you’re looking to practice conversational French, improve your pronunciation, grammar, prepare for an exam, or a job interview I’d be happy to help you.

Jade

Jade is a truly excellent teacher of the French language with whom I have been having lessons for over a year. She’s is not only a native French speaker, but holds degrees in Linguistics, Teaching and Business, and has significant experience of teaching French over many years. The benefit of this is that she is able to effortlessly teach at any level, with a focus on actually speaking the language in conversation. We have had discussions about things as simple as ordering food in a restaurant to subjects as complex as planning application submissions and urbanism rules (I am an architect). I am certainly not a natural linguist, but through her teaching I have gone from someone who was nervous about ordering a croissant in French, to gaining the confidence to deal with the complex language found in the workplace, and in day-to-day life in France. I would highly recommend Jade, whether you are visiting Paris for a short holiday and want to brush up on some vocabulary, or have moved here permanently and want to broaden your command of the French language.

I have been working with Andrey for about 2 months now, and I have to say he has been instrumental in my language learning journey. I have been working with him in different time zones across the world, and he has always been game to make something work -either taking appointments in the early afternoon, or the evenings. His understanding of French grammar and pronunciation, as well as his second to none note-taking skills, have allowed me to work on the parts of the French language that I struggle with most. He does all this while maintaining a relaxed and comfortable environment, where I feel ok to take things slower when I need to and transition back to English when necessary. It is honestly a pleasure to work with someone who understands how to teach the language to a native English speaker and has the materials to offer during the learning journey as well. No comment he gives, goes without thought, and I am thrilled to be working with someone who cares as much as I do about me becoming more comfortable with French.

First, she is an excellent musician. Second she is a patient, and an understanding teacher, who by nature is going to try to do her best to help you out. You feel confident with her and you know you are not going to be humiliated and belittled. She is there to support you. After two years of learning music with Pr Yantong Lin, I can hardly imagine how much she "enriched my life". She made me discover the beauty and subtlety of the music. She made me think musically and not just play notes, and made me discover the "intellectual fondation and beauty of music" that is harmony. A new undiscovered world has been opened wide in front of me! Thank you Pr Yantong for your musical and teaching talents. Professeur à absolument découvrir et suivre!
