We had highly informative, engaging, and inspiring lessons with Nancy. We started with fashion illustrations and the intricacies of technical drawing, then progressed to deep discussions about brand identity and the creative process. We also explored collection creation, along with the business and marketing aspects of a fashion company. I was pleasantly surprised by Nancy’s depth of highly practical and applicable knowledge, as well as the expertise she possesses in both fashion and marketing. We feel so lucky to have found Laura as my daughter’s violin teacher. Not only is she a skilled musician, she’s a wonderful instructor who is able to effectively engage with young kids (my daughter was four when she started lessons). I’ve observed Laura as both structured and flexible — her lessons are planned with purpose, but she also has back-up ideas if a kid’s energy isn’t a good match for the day’s agenda. I love seeing my daughter’s skill and confidence grow in such a warm, supportive learning environment. I wholeheartedly recommend lessons with Laura for any child interested in exploring the violin!
