This class combines advanced Spanish learning with the study of Spanish literature and culture, in a dynamic, participatory environment adapted to the level and objectives of each student. The sessions are taught by a university professor specializing in Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) and an examiner accredited by the Cervantes Institute, with extensive experience in teaching Spanish to foreign students. We will work with literary texts from different eras and authors—from the classics to contemporary literature—to develop not only your reading comprehension, but also your ability to express yourself with greater precision, richness, and naturalness in Spanish. In this class, we practice conversational English by diving into the stories we love. Instead of dry grammar drilling, our focus is on natural discussion centered on books, writing, cinema, and television. We can chat about characters, narrative themes, storylines, or simply discuss the stories that interest you. We can also read and discuss short book excerpts or script pieces together, depending on your interests. As a writer, I'm especially interested in how language creates emotion, reveals personality, and brings stories to life. Together, we'll explore not only what characters say, but why they say it that way, and how you can use natural expressions to sound more confident in your own English. Don't worry — you don't need to be a literary critic to enjoy these lessons. We use stories as a starting point for conversation, not as an excuse to overanalyze every page or scene. Whether you enjoy discussing your favourite novel, breaking down an unforgettable movie scene, or simply chatting about fictional worlds, the goal is to create a relaxed environment where English feels alive and enjoyable. It's all about enjoying the language instead of seeing it as something intimidating. I will correct your mistakes when appropriate, but mistakes are a natural and valuable part of learning. They help us identify what to improve and build lasting confidence. Every lesson is tailored to your interests, goals, and pace. The aim is to help you build real-world speaking confidence, expand your vocabulary, and enjoy using English in a relaxed, friendly environment. MULTILINGUAL LISTENING SUPPORT If you get stuck, you are welcome to use your native language when necessary. I have passive listening and reading comprehension of Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and German, in addition to being a native Serbian speaker. Our lessons and explanations will primarily be conducted in English or Serbian. ONLINE LESSONS Lessons are conducted via Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, depending on your preference. We can use screen sharing and digital materials when they are useful for the lesson.

Do you want to best prepare your child for the start of the school year and upcoming exams? Perfect, let's do it together! I am used to international students and know how to prepare them well for exams, whether it be on methodology or on the knowledge required in literature. As a teacher who has helped hundreds of students since 2013, I taught at both the middle and high school levels and am familiar with the requirements of the baccalaureate exam, having been an examiner. I enjoy helping students understand what they hadn't grasped before by explaining it in a different way. You are not just hiring a French teacher, but an ally for your child to help them achieve their best. I'm used to working with neurodivergent students; they've always found their way to my ad, and we do good work together. Trained in ADHD and ASD, I just finished my bachelor's degree in psychology. Don't hesitate to take lessons to help your child catch up and get back on track! Learning French isn't impossible! It requires effort, but I do my best to present it in a lively and accessible way! My students have consistently made significant progress, going from an average of 5 throughout the year to achieving a 14 average in the French baccalaureate exam. My students get good results on the baccalaureate and, most importantly, they approach it with a relaxed attitude (and can even finish top of their class, as they did in the 2025 EAF session). I have been preparing classes for these tests for years, I am up to date on methodology and programs. My services combine the experience of teaching French and the vivacity of a young teacher who succeeds in motivating the most recalcitrant students. My students have always made significant progress and above all, go to tests with confidence in their abilities.
