My method of teaching starts with analyzing the difficulties for the student. Then we will work on this in a focused way. I will first explain more and then we will practice together. It is important that you practice well outside of the lessons. I studied computer science (and mathematics) at Radboud University. I finished mathematics at the gymnasium with an 8. So I can give you tutoring at any level. I have given math tutoring before and currently also have math students. Furthermore, I also have tutoring students for chemistry and physics, so I can help you with that too.

I currently study European Public Health at Maastricht University and have completed the first year of International and European Law at Maastricht University. I achieved an A in my A-level results and earned an 8 (A) in my English Language and Literature GCSE’s. Additionally, I completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) dissertation on Henrik Ibsen ‘A Doll’s House’, for which I was awarded an A. In these lessons we will use the language skills you already have to discuss topics relevant to your ability level and interests. In doing this you will practise and improve your speaking skills, and I will give you feedback and advise, as well as introducing you to new language. In English teaching lessons I use reading, prepared topics, and listening. I can also prepare lessons based on questions you have or parts of the language you would like to explore. For example, a lesson on phrasal verbs using reading to introduce language, and then discussion to reaffirm it. In these lessons I can introduce you to new language and concepts and they are a very effective way of learning! Please let me know what level you are when you book.

This is not so much a lesson. It's more of an ongoing course. I will specifically guide you with your social research: from the choice of subject to the implementation of your conclusions/recommendations. And that at your own pace! Until my retirement I was a teacher at the HAN in Nijmegen for 25 years, studying Social Work. From that position I have supervised hundreds of graduation projects. I have extensive knowledge and tools for guidance for social research at MBO, HBO and Master Social Work level. For full-time students I use a different rate than stated above. Hello everyone, I am Funda, native Turkish, molecular biology and genetics graduate from Istanbul technical University, currently having internships on cognitive neuroscience. Across a year during my license, I was pleased to experience academic and personal experimentation in three different continents, first in China, participating to a project about neural circuitry of emotions at Brain, Cognition and Brain Disease Institute then, afterwards, attending to Erasmus exchange program in Strasbourg, France and having an active role on the project about intestinal immune system at Harvard University- in Boston, USA. I have enhanced the competence to conduct independent studies, to plan and implement my own experiments with the experiences I have acquired. Biology have been always so interesting for me and besides to chemistry, I have experienced to give courses about my field for some years. I've worked as a research assistant as part of my internship for 18 months. I have spent 2 months working at the University of Wisconsin, USA, where i was working in a cancer epigenetics lab. I've been active in the field of education since I was 14. I started home tutoring students from secondary school and have been teaching students as a part of a Non-profit organization, back in India. This Chinese saying is typical of my tutoring; I like to teach you how to fish and I won't just give you a fish. The fish is the correct answer to a question. In my tutoring we mainly focus on the skills you need to catch the fish. My goal is that you can continue without tutoring as quickly as possible! For example, I teach you step-by-step plans for tackling a calculation or explanation question. I also teach you to use unit analysis, so that you can solve any (new) type of sum. I will also give you tips on how to work as efficiently as possible, so that you learn more in less time. Of course we can also discuss difficult theory again. I use analogies and visual aids as much as possible. When you are preparing for your exam, we also work with exam assignments as much as possible. My specialty is teaching chemistry (I have a completed master's degree in education) to HAVO/VWO students. I am also happy to help you with the subjects of physics and mathematics. You can apply the skills I teach you to all of these subjects.
