I am based in Geneva and looking to tutor children preparing for the GCSEs and A-levels. My main subjects would be English, History and Geography, subjects for which I scored A*, A and B.

Whatever the level and situation of the student, I adapt to the needs, wishes, objectives while delivering my own expertise and approach in order to identify possible gaps and focus on points to work as a priority.

I have been teaching for more than 20 years in Geneva(Organizations/Group courses/Preparation for Delf etc..) at all levels and for the past years I have specialized in Survival modules and exam preparation for Fide exam( required for permit B/ C and citizenship) Usually I come to student's home and we have 1 or 2 lessons of 1h30 peer week depending on their needs and focus..As I am teaching between Geneva and Nyon, I am more in favor of meeting the students at their home.

I am a doctorate student with a master degree in English literature, including a specialization in new American studies from the university of Lausanne. I specialise in teaching english and german for school and adult levels, with tailor-made lesson plans, as well as biology and chemistry to students up to high school level.

I use a holistic approach to languages, with listening, talking, reading and writing joined together with games and visual tools. Students are challenged and improvement is noticeable within two to four weeks depending on the lesson frequency!

I help with homework and give remedial lessons for CO and College students in all subjects except German and mathematics. I am patient, attentive and pedagogue; I adapt my method to the person to whom I am giving a lesson, I look for personalized ways to give meaning to the subject matter that poses the problem. I travel to the student's home, I can also receive the student at my home or give the lesson by webcam.

During my years of schooling in the orientation cycle and at college in Geneva (2002-2009) I too encountered difficulties and worked a lot with coaches and coaches; that's how I "learned to learn", gained self-confidence and obtained my gymnasium certificate with distinctions. I then continued my studies until obtaining a Master's degree in Visual Art in Glasgow in 2018. After several years of training and work in the United Kingdom (Glasgow and London) I have been back in Geneva for more one year.
