I provide private one-to-one classical piano lessons for students aged 8 and up – including adults. Lessons are moulded to the ability of each student, whether you are just starting out, intermediate or advanced or even taking the piano back up after a long break, I will make sure your lessons are a suitable pace and level for you. Lessons cover technical exercises, sight reading, theory and aural skills as well as learning pieces.

I have been teaching for over 7 years, with a focus on ABRSM exams. However your lessons do not need to be exam orientated if you would rather just learn for pleasure.

Extra information

In order to start lessons, students will require a decent keyboard or piano. Often beginner students start with a keyboard as this is cheaper and takes up less space – this is fine as a temporary solution, but keyboards should have touch sensitive keys as dynamics (playing loud and quiet) is an important skill that I teach from early lessons.

Student of 20, I have always been immersed in the world of music. I did 8 years of classical piano at the academy of Saint-Gilles and since my 15 years I give classes to children wanting to progress outside the academy or just want to have a first approach to the piano. Not having done the conservatory, I give lessons to people being in piano formation, the first 5 academic years. I am used to working with children, so I can give piano lessons to children from 5 years (under 5 years, except particularly motivated child, I do not think that particular lessons of instrument welcome, a collective course of musical initiation seems to me more interesting)
I can also offer my help for music theory classes. I am a graduate of the Academy of Saint Gilles and I know how some children see this beautiful discipline as a torture.

Being highly skilled in sight-reading, I have often realized how valuable and enjoyable it is to possess that “gift.” After more than ten years of teaching students of different levels and aspirations, I have observed a common thread: regardless of their goals, all were eager to improve their ability to read and interpret new, unfamiliar music.

Currently, I am developing a multifaceted approach designed to help students understand a composition at first sight. This method combines specific pattern recognition and structural score-mapping, anchored in a fundamental understanding of rhythm, pitch, and harmony, together with highly effective practice and memorization strategies personalized to each student's needs and technical challenges.

For over ten years, I have been teaching students of all ages and levels. In addition to regular lessons, I offer the opportunities to perform at the yearly class concert as well as dedicated preparation for ABRSM piano examinations.

I'm a pianist with extensive performing experience on international stages and a first-prize winner of more than 30 international piano competitions across Europe and USA. I hold a Master's degree and four Postgraduate degrees (piano and chamber music) from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.

Concert pianist and teacher, I graduated with a master's degree in piano at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel) in 2020 and in musical pedagogy (Agrégation de l'enseignement and master's degree in piano teaching) in 2023. Passed by Paris (Université Paris- Sorbonne), Mons, Grenoble and now Brussels, I know how to adapt to all students and all ages in order to teach them the basics of the piano and give them a desire for music. More advanced students will also benefit from my experience as a pianist.

I took my first piano lesson at the age of 5, and now I am a MA student at KASK Conservatory in Ghent. Studying with numerous professors made me realize a significant impact one can have on your future development. This inspired me to start teaching. My aim is to motivate students, dare them to be creative and help them express their own personality through music.
