Music Lessons. Cello, piano, and initiation to classical music for children.

I would like to teach you to learn to play the piano. Music is an indispensable thing in life, in my opinion. The lessons will be in person at my home on location (online is possible in consultation) and the teaching method will be adapted to knowledge, technique and age. I can teach you technique as well as the fundamentals of music theory. Of course it's a lot more fun if you can also just play your favorite pieces! I believe that development of technique is better practiced by learning and applying it in actual pieces of music instead of exercise books of, for example, Alfred's piano method. Some info about me: I have been interested in classical music since my early teens. It's an incredibly important part of my life. My private teachers were main study teacher of piano and organ Jelena Bazova from the Tilburg Conservatory, Canadian concert pianist Steven Massicotte and Helmond city organist Jan van de Laar. I don't consider myself a soloist, as I had only been at the conservatory for a fairly short time, before going back to ICT and financing my concert grand piano. I am a professional musician who finished his masters studies in 2020 in Codarts, Rotterdam. Lessons are intended for all levels, I can adapt my teaching to the student needs. My career is basically classical, but I am open to different styles so if you are interested on (for example) pop, jazz or rock we can just focus on what do you want to learn in order to make Theory become more practical.

From music theory to violoncello, if you are just beginning or you want an extra boost for your career this is the lesson for you! We can start with a huge field of what music is, and narrow it to the things that adapt the most to what you want to achieve with the instrument, or your goals!

The focus of this class is to learn how to play the piano but most important how to make music. Music is a language that expresses our feelings & ideas and connects us with other people but also with ourselves. Together we will can work on the basic principles and tools to play the piano, setting a healthy technique but also cultivate your personal sense of music. Further on, we can explore new repertoire and unknown composers, refine your playing and learn how to deal with difficulties, discuss about interpretation issues and even work on your performance on stage. With music theory, we can dive into the alphabet and syntactic of music: the world harmony, rhythm, solfege and analysis.

Piano lessons for reading sheet music, learning favorite pieces, improvising and more. In a very calm and friendly environment, the classes are organized and planned according to the students goals/wishes. I can teach you about harmony, how to construct and play melodies and whatever interest in music you might have. While improving the piano technique, I will make sure the student enjoys the lesson and has a sense of improvement every week.

As an experienced violinist and a violin teacher, I offer violin lessons for students in every age and level of advancement. During our lessons, I will help you discover the beautiful and magical side of this instrument. BEGINNERS If you are a beginner, I will teach you some basic violin and music skills. In the first lessons, we will do simple exercises to teach you how to hold the violin and the bow in the correct and relaxed way. In the lessons, you will also learn some basic theory, reading music, and basic rhythms. From the beginning, you will be playing some nice, simple tunes and violin duets. The lessons are held in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. ADVANCED STUDENTS In our first lesson, we will talk about students’ needs expectations, and level of abilities and choose the right repertoire for you. My name is Anar and I'm from Mongolia. I'm a piano bachelor student at Codarts Rotterdam. Currently, I'm living in Breda. I've been playing piano for 17 years and have experience in teaching. I teach on all levels.

It is beautiful to be able to play a musical instrument. However, when looking to learn the cello, one needs regular accompaniment. Either if you want to engage in a hobby or if you want to learn and develop your skills in a more serious way, I will adapt your lessons to your ambitions and desires towards your cello lessons. The duration of our lessons can be flexible according to the necessity or possibility of the student. Other artistic situations can be offered depending on what you show through the lessons, as the participation in cello ensembles, preparation for competitions (for students who will take the cello further in their studies), preparation for other exams that the student may want to apply to out-side our lessons, as others which may be proposed by the student him-self. There is also the opportunity to improve and practice your English, Portuguese, Spanish or Czech since these are the languages in which I can teach, according to the students preference. The most important thing is that you love music so that we can make some together!!

I'm just finished my studies in the University of Arts of Codarts (Rotterdam) and I can't deny I will always keep learning after finishing my degree. I'm looking forward to sharing some knowledge and to hear what you already know. What can I offer? Styles that we can work on: Classical, Folk, Jazz, Pop music. Languages that we can speak in the lesson: Dutch, English, Catalan or/and Spanish Skills that we can work on: basic techniques, jazz and folk techniques, play the cello while singing, percussion on the cello. How do I work? Each class will be individually prepared, in order to have the student goals in mind. In our first lesson we can get to know each other and then we will figure out what do you want and how can I help you. For BEGINNERS I teach the bow, finger positions and other basics with easy songs (with kids I add games to make it more entreating). Such as relating painting with playing, dancing with playing or literature with playing. For AVERAGE LEVEL we explore, with already some technique, how to play songs, finding a good sound and feel at ease with the instrument. Additional Activities: Once a month I plan a rehearsal with pianist to work on some repertoire of cello and piano. Meetings with other students are also arranged to play duos together. I am a professional pianist with a Master´s degree in Piano Performance on Stages. I believe that the point of becoming a musician is to share feelings and experiences through this form of art. What better way of getting people to discover the beauty of music than teaching? During my lessons we will focus on what I consider to be the pillars of music education: music theory/analysis, body posture/technique and different styles and repertoires according to your preferences. In addition to the essential aspects of music, we can explore the world of improvisation. Thanks to my experience as an accompanist and a chamber music player I can help you to develop the ability to collaborate with different musicians in various styles.

I am studying Bachelor as violinist in Codarts Univerisity of Arts.But I've been playing piano since I am 3 years old and I finished my middle professional musical education of both instruments in Spain, where I also played in some youth orchestras. (That means that I have been playing piano for 18 years) I teach on all levels: kids who want to start playing and adults who want to improve their musical skills (or adults who are just about to start this musical journey!). In my lessons (that can be taught in english, spanish or russian) apart from improving your technical and musical skills, you will also learn some theorical aspects of music. I always do my best to make you a better musician. IMPORTANT: I do not teach at home, I prefer to move to the student's place.
