I am passionate about languages and the study of translation (version / theme). I studied Latin and English throughout my schooling and during my studies in preparatory literary class. I also went to work in England for a two month stay, which allowed me to develop a "British" accent and to be more aware of the characteristics of this wonderful language and indispensable in the world today. The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice. Medieval scholars and contemporary language researchers alike advocate the use of dialogues and comprehensible input for language acquisition, and it most certainly works!
