My English lessons designed for young ESL students, focus on phonics and early literacy skills.
These are interactive lessons, carefully crafted to engage young learners, making the process of learning English enjoyable and effective. I understand the importance of building a strong foundation in phonics, as it lays the groundwork for reading, writing, and overall language development.
Throughout our lessons I will guide students through various phonics principles, teaching them the sounds and letter combinations that form the building blocks of the English language. From identifying consonants and vowels to blending sounds and decoding words, students will gain the essential skills necessary for reading and pronunciation.
In addition to the comprehensive lessons, my students also receive free access to an exceptional reading platform tailored specifically for their needs. In addition to this platform, I also provide customized resources tailored to my individual students and families! Therefore, my students are equipped with games to continue their learning at home!
My goal is to foster a love for reading and language in your young learners, equipping them with the tools they need to become confident English speakers!

With over 8 years of experience as an ESL teacher and tutor, I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages and backgrounds, helping them enhance their English language abilities. Upon relocating to Vancouver, I joined the West Vancouver school district, working as a primary and intermediate English and French teacher.
