Hello! I am Francisco, a guitar player from Argentina. I am living in the Netherlands since 2021 and I'm studying at Maastricht Conservatorium. I have been teaching guitar lessons for almost 10 years now and love to guide others into their learning process. We can cover different topics: Are you just interested in strumming chords and learning songs? Great! Music theory? Sure! Concepts for improvisation? Yeah! The lessons are aimed both at people who have never grabbed a guitar before, and also for those seeking to dive deeper. Some of the things we will be working on are: Triads, Scales, Voicings, Time Feel, Rhythm, Repertoire, Tools for playing in a band, Comping, and more. The lessons can be at my place in Maastricht, at yours or via Zoom.

My name is Egita and I am a professional singer and vocal teacher. I began my musical studies in Riga, Latvia at the age of 9. In 2006 I completed studies as a choral conductor and entered Jazeps Vitols Latvian Academy of music in classical singing and teaching department. In 2010 I achieved bachelor in classical singing and also a professional qualification as a singing teacher. In same year I started my voice studies in Conservatorium Maastricht with prof. Axel Everaert. In 2014 I finished Master in Classical singing and Master in Opera singing. During my studies in Riga, Latvia, I have worked as a singing teacher in Vidzemes Jurmalas music and art school, as well teached private students. Also when I came to Maastricht, during my development as a professional singer, I kept teaching singing. I regularly participate in various courses, masterclasses and festivals, and I have an active performance schedule.

To stay organized and cover all the essentials, I like to split the lesson in parts, depending on your skill level of course. In a lesson of one hour we can cover theoretical music skills, breath work, reed exercises, etudes and technical exercises and pieces. We can also play duos together! Because I have a lot of experience making reeds, I can make and adjust your reeds to your maximal comfort. Life can get hectic, so I'm all about flexibility. We can find a time during the week that works for both of us, and we'll make sure our lessons fit seamlessly into your schedule. Hey! I give private piano lessons for kids and adults in Maastricht. I offer piano lessons based on the individual program from the level, personal interests, and aspirations. Therefore teaching methods and materials will always be chosen in consultation with the student. I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.
