Using jazz music as my specialism, I am able to teach even the most technically challenging concepts in their most basic forms and transfer them to the guitar in their most simple terms. I have taught the guitar, music theory and GCSE and A-Level Music syllabuses for six years to students of all ages and abilities and across every imaginable genre.

This piano lesson aims to provide a holistic learning to students of all levels and all ages, where they not only acquire techniques and skills through the process, but also develop the interest and the ability to achieve musicality and artistic level. In the class, we will build up the strength and skill of piano, identifying your goal and something you want to work on, and look after your mental and physical well-being in order to achieve the joy and fulfillment learning piano. This piano lesson can be conducted in English or Chinese Mandarin.

Everyone is musical to learn music! I offer instrumental lessons for piano and Guzheng to students of all ages and backgrounds, regardless of your level of proficiency. Whether you prefer classical or pop music, you will find something that suits your taste. I also provide lessons Western music theory ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 8, as well as Chinese music theory lessons. You can also opt to take Graded examinations for international recognition of your progress in music. I am proud to say that my students have a 100% passing rate. This class is for beginner and intermediate musicians who wish to improve their musicianship, whether it be for leisure purposes or preparing for exams such as GCSE, A-Level, ABRSM or equivalent. I am a composer/pianist currently studying at Royal College of Music. I started studying music at quite young, but never found my passion in it until my late teenage years. Now music is such an integral part of my life and well being, and I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experiences to support others on their musical journeys. As a teacher I am very flexible and can adapt to how you want to learn, I also take a creative approach to teaching piano so that my students develop their musicianship and composition skills while learning the piano. As a composer, I always bring elements of music theory and composition into my piano teaching, so that my students can develop their musicianship and creativity while improving their piano playing skills. My teaching philosophy is that the most important aspect of learning music is to find one’s interest and passion in it, and my goal as a teacher is to support my students and help them find their passion in music; However, I am familiar with the ABRSM examinations and have a Grade 8 certificate myself, and I always tailor my lessons to different students based on what they are looking for.

Personal description: I am a professional classical musician, with a master’s degree in flute playing and years of experience playing solo, chamber music and with orchestras internationally. I offer Flute and Music Theory lessons to children and adults of all ages, skill levels (grades 1 through 8 and beyond). Also I offer Piano lessons for beginners (grades 1 and 2). Tutoring experience: I have worked in the National School of Arts “Prof. L. Pipkoff” Sofia, Bulgaria. My class had children of different ages and mastery of the subject. I prepared them for national exams and concert appearances. I’ve also given privet lessons. Tutoring approach: Since every pupil is different, I believe that a good teacher always adjusts his methods to the needs and personality of his student. I strive to provide a structured and clear lesson, while focusing on music as something to be enjoyed. I work with the requirements of the grade system (from grade 1 to grade 8). In the process the child will learn: Instrumental techniques, music literacy, correct breathing and ear training.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
