It’s easy to fall into the trap of trying to learn Arabic by transcribing words instead of learning the alphabet first. Think about how we learned English back in school. First, you learn your letters, then you form those letters into words, then you learn how to form sentences, and then you learn more about proper syntax and grammar. Acquiring additional languages will broaden your horizons; it will enable you to interact with a greater number of individuals and enhance your social network, while also enhancing critical thinking skills from diverse perspectives that may result in significant career opportunities. Cultural awareness, improved communication skills and enhanced academic performance are just a few of the benefits of learning new languages or improving your language skills.

For an academic student, I would monitor their current classes, design exercises to enhance their proficiency and concentrate on identifying and ameliorating their weaknesses.

In a lesson for a volunteer learner, I would prioritise speaking practice, since the pronunciation of certain syllables is essential.
