It doesn’t matter your age or level — beginners, advanced students, and adults are all welcome. I love helping students discover the joy of playing music. My lessons are adapted to each student’s goals, level, and musical interests, combining structure with flexibility. I aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment based on patience, curiosity, and motivation.
About me:
My name is Uma and I am originally from Spain. I have been living in The Hague for the past five years. After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Flute in Madrid and a Master’s degree in Zürich, I recently finished a Bachelor’s degree in Early Music and historical flutes at the Koninklijk Conservatorium The Hague. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Music Education, which allows me to continuously refine my teaching approach.
I have more than 10 years of teaching experience and enjoy encouraging curiosity while adapting lessons to each student’s interests and needs. All ages and levels are welcome, and I strive to make learning music both structured and fun.
