I specialize in teaching both English and maths for all ages, I have worked with children from the age of five for maths tutoring. I plan each tutorial individually based on every student's learning goals and can be adapted at any stage for better performance.

Studying currently at Leiden University College. I realized that taking the International Baccalaureate Programme (IB) during High School, not only prepared me for university but also equipped me with research and analysis skills, allowing me to be a better professional in the future. Nevertheless, I am aware that this programme is also extremely challenging, and most students, just as I did, need some guidance throughout the process. Here, I may come in to help you. During IB, some of the subjects I took were: 1) Psychology Standard Level (receiving 6 as my final examination grade) 2) Psychology Extended Essay (receiving A as my final examination grade) 3) English B Higher Level (receiving 7 as my final examination grade) 4) Polish A: Literature Standard Level (receiving 7 as my final examination grade) 4) Mathematics Analysis and Approaches Standard Level (receiving 6 as my final examination grade) 5) Biology Higher Level (receiving 5 as my final examination grade) 6) Theory of Knowledge Final Essay (receiving B as my final examination grade) I can be a mentor and serve as help for students writing their Internal Assessments in the subjects mentioned above, as well as when writing the Extended Essay in Psychology, or the Theory of Knowledge Essay. I may also tutor, in preparation for the exams, or to explain specific topics from: Psychology, Biology, Polish, English B, or Theory of Knowledge. Hi I am 20 years old and am currently a student at Leiden University doing a bachelor of sciences in environmental sustainability. I completed my A levels in Maths, Physics and Biology with grades A in Maths and Biology. I also did an AS level in Chemistry from the British School in the Netherlands. I love science and geography and did my primary education in English and got all grade 9s in my science and geography GCSEs and a grade 8 in Maths. I am a professional English teacher with over 8 years experience in various teaching roles. I have experience of teaching all ages from 3 up to 65+ in group classes or 1-on-1. My name is Xander and I am 19 years old. I was born and grew up in the UK near London. I am fluent and extremally competent in English and I feel I can teach English as well as most school subjects to children and teenagers younger than 16. This class is to ve fluent in the everyday use of Italian. This class will be helpful for both who are personally driven to the culture and language and who need to use it on a daily basis in their working/studying environment. The class can be adapted to the student's needs. Even though not fluent, I have spent half of my life in Italy, or academically involved with Italian culture and language. Therefore this class can be beneficial for those who would like to advance their knowledge. There will be a particular emphasis on the cultural aspect of the language that will be given in the teaching approach, both to familiarize the learner to the particular culture and to get deeper knowledge on the grammar and pronunciation.

My goal is to teach younger children/students the correct way of the English language. I have had precious experience with tutoring while I lived in Germany. During my time in tutoring,I learnt that children tend to learn faster and easier when enjoying a lesson. I therefore try to keep my lessons fun and exciting but of course, effective. My lessons included tasks like word puzzles, role play, quizzes etc. I provide worksheets, but I am open to helping out with homework they received from school or anything they are having problems with. At the end of every few lessons, I like to give a small exam on what was learnt the past few hours. Just to see what can be improved or What has already become a plus.

I specialize in tutoring Mathematics and English for school and the SAT, GED exams. My goal is to help students understand the basics and work around problem areas they have in Mathematics. By teaching the meaning behind formula's and reasons for methods up until the correct solution is given. I find it is important to grasp an understanding and improve the learners understanding of the material. Working with numbers is very easy for me, as I have a distinction in mathematics on my High-School certificate and have passed university level mathematics. This will help me to explain why each process has to be done in solving any question/problem. In my English lessons, I teach proper grammar balanced with vocabulary. Teaching the importance of the different sounds in the English language to help with reading and writing skills. Once these are obtained then the next step is teaching how to hold conversation in English. I am also qualified to teach formal-business type English for anyone who needs to use English in a professional environment.
