I grew up in Suzhou, a poetic city near Shanghai known for its classical gardens and rich history. Currently, I am majoring in Intelligent Product Design at TU Delft. Besides engineering, I am also a screenwriter, which gives me a dual perspective on language: logic vs. emotion.
Why I Started Teaching My journey began during a group project at TUD. My teammate, a Chinese enthusiast, could hold a daily conversation but struggled to discuss our project in Chinese. She didn't know the specific terms for "electronic circuits" (电子电路) or "workshop tools" (机械车间). This gap inspired me to design a course structure that is actually useful for your career and interests.
My 3 Specified Modules:
1. Chinese for Beginners: We build a solid foundation. I explain the logic behind Pinyin and Grammar, making the "hardest language" demystified and approachable.
2. Professional & Technical Chinese (My Specialty): Do you want to use Chinese in your workplace or research? I teach specialized vocabulary for Engineering, Design, and Business contexts (e.g., tools, electronics, software interactions) so you can communicate professionally.
3. Cultural Immersion (The Screenwriter's Cut): Language is culture. Based on your interests (or "Mother Motifs"), I curate movies, music, and literature for you. We won't just read textbooks; we'll analyze scripts and lyrics to learn the most authentic expressions.
