I am a professional singer with 10 years of teaching experience in group and individual settings. I hold a Master's in Music Performance from the Rhythmic Music Conservatory, with a background in Jazz singing, sound art, and mixed media. My teaching journey spans a diverse range, engaging students from 8 to 80.

My teaching repertoire covering genres like jazz, pop, choral pieces, experimental/improvisational exploration, and songwriting. I focus on essential elements such as technique, posture, repertoire, ear training, and musical intuition.

At the core of my approach is the art of crafting an inclusive space—one that not only nurtures self-expression but also celebrates individuality. I'm a firm believer in honoring the pace and progress of each student, creating a dynamic environment that sparks motivation and ensures development. For me, the teacher-student connection facilitates the unlocking of the authentic potential of one's voice.

If wanted, songwriting can also be a focus of work.

I like to develop a bond with my students and together with them create a custom plan of work, having in mind their goals and intentions.

I studied classical music for 12 years, from violin to classical singing, followed up by studies in some of the most well-known Jazz schools in Portugal.

Join me for an artistic voice development practice! ( open to all genres )

In a dynamic and immersive learning experience emphasizing practical, hands-on learning, we will focus on uniqueness as artists and the dramaturgical elements of performance/creation.

We will work on your ideas and material while I will introduce project-based challenges, followed by reflection and discussion sessions on artistic references and identity with the intention of deepening the understanding of artistic choices, and feed the practical sessions.

We can discuss concept, theory, production, composition and songwriting.

Aleksandra is a trained singer, singing teacher and choir conductor from the Academy of Music in Gdansk and Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in Barcelona.

She took to the stage in her childhood and has been teaching music for the last 6 years.

For several years she was a chorister of the prestigious Polish National Youth Choir and leader of Vocal Quintet Solifonia. Currently, she is a choir conductor and the founder of CHOIR CLUB in Korskolen.

What can you expect from her teaching?

She believes that singing can be passion, a communication tool, a means of therapy and so much more: more than you can imagine!

In her classes, you will learn key vocal techniques as well as learning to understand your voice. You will discover the deeper meanings of the songs you sing as you seek to express them to the world.

As she is working towards becoming an Accredited Teacher of IVTOM (International Voice Teachers of Mix) she focuses on delivering teaching based on the Mix principles: by mixing the chest and head voice you receive the full benefits of “both voices”: the natural and powerful sound of the chest voice, and the beauty and range of the head voice. As a singer learns to sing using both of these resonances and trains the vocal folds to stay together, it is possible to vocalize smoothly and evenly from one register to the next. The relationship of the two elements working together will create an even, smooth vocalization and, as a result, eliminates the “breaks” in the voice.

She has a good knowledge of playing the piano, so you can sing along to her accompaniment or accompany yourself under her supervision.

Hello! I am Lori, a professional singer and vocal pedagogue with notable performance and teaching experience in a variety of musical genres. I hold a doctorate in voice performance and am currently teaching in reputable institutions in the Washington, D.C. area.

I work with students ranging from teenagers to adults focusing on classical, musical theatre, and contemporary styles. Meanwhile, I perform in a diverse spectrum of styles and genres, mainly classical, musical theatre, and jazz, both in the United States and abroad.
