Recently graduated from a master's degree in international affairs and intercultural communication, I decided to come to Lisbon for 1 year.
I offer tutoring courses in languages (Spanish - bilingual and English - fluent) and help with homework.

Foreign language classes for adults and children. Experienced tutor with advanced degree (master’s degree and bachelors degree) in foreign language: Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, French, English. Conversation, reading, vocabulary, grammar, language studies for business, travel, academics or leisure.
My approach to language learning is acquiring the target language as one acquired their native language- immersion, conversation practice , reading, writing.
I am an experienced in interpretation and work as a medical/social/academic interpreter.
I also do translation work and have experience in tourism (tourist license for foreign language tours in the United States).
Because I am multilingual, I work with various language combinations for students- for example: French students learning English, Spanish-speaking students learning Italian, Portuguese-speaking students learning Spanish, etc.

For this reason, I consider that the fundamental thing is to make the learning process fun and pleasant. It is important to know what the student's interests are when learning Spanish: if they are looking for practice in conversation, passing a language test, learning grammar, learning to communicate, increasing their vocabulary, understanding their favorite podcast... Thus, The classes will be adapted to the needs of each student. For this same reason, if it is a person fascinated by music and literature, those will be our topics of conversation. If, on the other hand, it is a child who enjoys bilingual games, I will use that to structure the classes. If you are looking for grammar, syntax and vocabulary, they will be classes more focused on exercises dedicated to these topics. In short, the main thing is to adapt to the interests of each student so that the experience is good and the language is learned naturally.
