Luc
Electronic Music Production (Ableton, Beatmaking, Sound Design, Recording, Mixing)
I can help out beginner to intermediate producers. We can start all the way from the beginning or focus on specific topics that you would have questions about. I can teach you to produce tracks in an intuitive way without the use of music theory but can also incorporate the basics of music theory in the lessons. I’m specialised in sound design, playing live sets on stage and developing the identity of artists. It helps me to get intermediates to the next level. When you want to start with music production you need to work in a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). I work mainly with Ableton because it's very intuitive and "jammable". It's a great DAW to work in, especially for beginners. Preferably my lessons will be focused on Ableton but I can also work in other DAW's because the fundamentals are mostly the same in all of them. The following aspects will be covered in Ableton Live: 1. The Basics (overview of the layout) 2. Arrangement, session and clip view 3. Working with sequencers and MIDI 4. Recording and routing 5. Audio and MIDI effects 6. How to work with the built-in instruments in Ableton Live. 7. How to go from a basic beat to a finished track. 8. Mixing and mastering 9. The basics of music theory 10. Intermediate: sound design, synthese, synthesizers, sampling, field recordings 11. Intermediate: developing your own liveset with MIDI controllers, drumcomputers and synthesizers 12. Intermediate: developing your own sound and identity If you have any question, don't hesitate to message me!

Gosse
Piano lessons according to the principle: the best and fastest way to Rome!
Do you want to teach (electric) piano, keyboard or synthesizer? Then you have come to the right place! Gosse (1989) has been giving piano lessons for more than 10 years and we are proud to announce that almost all students who start the lessons actually continue. The lessons are primarily focused on fun and development. He knows from experience that the most important ingredients for learning to play the piano as effectively as possible are: 1: The pleasure of playing The fun is increased by learning to play numbers that the student experiences as beautiful or fun and that bring the right degree of challenge. Gosse mainly specializes in Pop, Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Funk, Bossa-nova, Latin and Light classical styles. Learn to play your favorite songs! 2: Learning in the way that best suits the student There are three different ways in which someone can learn to play the piano: sheet music, by ear and (the relatively new way) through software programs such as Synthesia. The correct method differs from person to person. 3: Knowing the music theory / shortcuts The three ways you can learn to play the piano described above help you press the right keys at the right time. But it can be easier. Namely by knowing the underlying music theory and / or the shortcuts! Gosse also teaches music production (songwriting and producing). He is most specialized in the Logic Pro and Ableton studio programs. He also helps vocalists who want to accompany themselves on the piano. Feel free to contact us for a trial lesson, for a more detailed version of the above 3 points or if you want to know more!

Saxophone and Composition lessons in the Amsterdam area
During my almost 7 years of experience teaching privately, I have realized that there are many types of students and that whatever the discipline, as a teacher, you have to adapt and personalize teaching for each person. This is the method that I apply to my private saxophone and composition classes. With more than 12 years of experience studying and practicing music, with a bachelor's degree in classical composition and pursuing a master's degree in jazz saxophone, my classes are oriented to both languages, reviewing technique, interpretation, examples, sound, language, reading, styles, and methods of practicing both the instrument and the composition. I’ve designed these lessons for you to learn as much as possible about these super interesting disciplines, step by step, and in a practical way.

Play only what you like! - Sound Design and Electronic Music lessons in Ableton Live, Logic Pro, hardware instruments and/or Max MSP
Music is Play! and everyone is its own game. Understand and make only the music you like. If it isn't fun, it can't be music! I studied a classical piano bachelor, and later a jazz master and a live electronics master. In the meantime, I have been teaching music and playing synths, drum machines, and computers. It's longer than 5 years now! Electronic music is a very vast world. The possibilities are endless. But do you need to learn everything, or only what interests you to make the music you want to do? From listening and analyzing a song you like, we will go through the necessary knowledge for you to achieve it: - What do you need to build your home studio in order to create something similar? - Which instruments (or plugins) are being used. - Whether or not a knowledge of music theory is necessary. - And in which different ways / through which paths could you achieve something like what you desire? At the same time that we analyze and learn, you are also going to be encouraged to create! Practice makes the master, and the more you create, the more familiar you'll be with the tools and the environments that we learn in class. A part of the class is also going to be dedicated to listening to what you created and going through different ways we may improve it. For people interested in live electronics (live-processing an acoustic instrument or programming live sets), I also have knowledge of Max MSP and I can teach the basics or help you program any kind of device you propose. PD: I have also experienced imparting piano lessons, which is also a very important part of my professional practice. In case you are interested, it is also possible to mix the two worlds and create any kind of path between piano, synths, beats, and home studio techniques. Ask me anything, I'll tell you how I could help!
