I play in different musical projects with artists such as Youssef Swatt's, Lena Deluxe, Bim Boom Bap... My teaching focuses on spontaneous and mainly oral learning of music. There is no need to know music theory. I will discuss some theoretical notions depending on what we are working on together, and your curiosity on this subject. I would emphasize listening, rhythm and playing in pairs. I enjoyed my first lessons. It was both very practical since I learned a lot about the technical aspect of playing an instrument (hand positioning, body posture, etc.) and about the history of harp. The teacher also gave me advice regarding buying my own harp. She was very attentive and paid attention to my every movement, to make sure that I played it all correctly. I am looking forward to having more lessons

Cigdem is a great teacher who takes the time to integrate learnings with real-life discussions. For example, we spend 10 minutes at the start of each lesson and throughout the course of the lesson an extra 15-20 minutes having a chat about subjects including work and life in order to be able to apply all the theoretical learnings to the actual language.
