Course description: Modular courses according to the expectations and level of each student (fun and uninhibited approach or very demanding training in the greatest tradition of Russian and international education). For novices / beginners: it is imperative to start on a good basis, by acquiring from the start the reflexes to quickly produce a beautiful sound and have fun to master this beautiful instrument. Classes can be combined with learning music theory. For intermediate to advanced levels as well as for conservatoire students: I can bring you a methodology and advice on technical and musical plans, help you expand your repertoire, prepare you for concerts or auditions. These courses can be given in parallel to the teaching of a senior teacher. Location: I'm traveling in Geneva and its surroundings. The courses may, therefore, be held at your home or any other place of your choice or at my home in Versoix. The first lesson / meeting is an opportunity to establish a contact, to talk about your goals and expectations, to explain my work method as well as to discuss a lesson plan. This will allow you to make an informed decision later on. The schedules are flexible according to the expectations and the possibilities of the pupil. As a musician who began playing the cello at the age of 7, I fully understand the challenges that come with this musical journey. Let me introduce you a little more about who I am (you will find more detailed information in my profile). My name is Vyara, I'm 28 years old and I'm from Bulgaria. I hold two master's degrees in music from the HEM Geneva. In 2021, I obtained my master's degree in music performance, and in 2023, I completed my master's degree in pedagogy and instrumental teaching. Thanks to my early training, I have been fortunate enough to win numerous international competitions. I have performed not only as a soloist, but also as a member of a piano trio, and we have traveled the world sharing our music. Teaching is my true passion, and since 2018, I have had the privilege of actively teaching. I have my own cello class in Geneva, but I am also a trusted substitute teacher at many local music schools. Thanks to this diverse background and my years of pedagogical studies, I have gained extensive experience with students of all levels and ages. My work and commitment were recognized by Denis Severin (professor at the HEM in Geneva), and in 2021, I was invited to become his assistant for international master classes.
