My name is Farris, and I am currently a 3rd-year Aerospace Engineering student studying at TU Delft. I have a strong international background, having lived most of my life outside the Netherlands and at international schools. Upon completing my secondary education at The International School of The Hague in 2020, I began tutoring students from the school who struggled with mathematics and physics and have been doing so ever since. My tutoring sessions often follow quite an unorthodox approach. As a younger student myself, I struggled massively with mathematics and physics at a younger age, mostly due to issues with focusing and understanding, as well as being diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). Over the years I developed methods of dealing with such issues, and it is those methods that I use in my tutoring sessions to help students progress in their academics. I live near the Rotterdam Centrum area. Tutoring sessions can happen at my house, at public locations (Rotterdam Central Library), at the home of the student (depending on location), or online on a call. If a student is hesitant to learn one-on-one, or has a friend/classmate whom would also like to be tutored, dual sessions can take place whereby both students are tutored simultaneously. I need to re-study 4 years of high school maths in only 5 months. Mahmood agreed to help me with this difficult task and thanks to his professional way of teaching I believe I can make this happen. He explains topics in detail and yet quickly enough to spare time for other topics. If you are unsure he points you to the right direction. Most important thing for me was that he made me realize that I first need to master concept #1 in order to be able to later master concept #5 and so on. You can see that he has a lot of teaching experience, he tries to understand the way YOU think and based on that he serves you clear explanation for topics you struggle to understand. I definitely recommend him as your next teacher!

Fabian is an excellent tutor. My daughter needed to pass the CCVX and Boswell Beta exams in Chemistry to qualify for admission at a Dutch University after having completed high school in the United States. Fabian was able to explain complex ideas in a simplified manner and created a comfortable learning environment for my daughter to thrive in. He adapted his teaching to her learning style so she was able to really engage with what was being taught. The result was her successfully passing both exams this summer and subsequently being admitted to the university. She is now in her first semester at the university and feeling confident and thankful for Fabian's support in getting her there!
