Trusted teacher: Thank you for visiting my profile! Here is my course offer, my strengths and information on my background. A question? Write to me! These exams follow each other and look alike. From year to year, examiners have similar expectations, which must be targeted so as not to be taken on class on D-day. It is therefore a question of developing a framework to be applied methodically for each task and that is what we can work on. Most of the requests come from CE1D in mathematics: in this subject more than any other, the analysis of past CE1D, the targeting of essential materials and the development of “recipe cards” makes the work less random and more strategic. This saves time above all to complete this stress-free exam and to go to the basics to demonstrate that the skill is acquired. MY ASSETS - Relaxed relationship - Student empowerment - Concentration and stress management - A top working method! WHO AM I? My name is Valérie and I am 31 years old. Multi-graduate, I remain an eternal student. Even when I was little, still at the beginning of my primary schooling, I was looking for ways to learn more easily. This search for rapid and effective study continued with me during secondary school, to which was added the challenge of following them in English immersion. The personal learning methods that I had developed took on even more meaning when the thick university syllabi piled up on my desk. As with everyone, university learning remained a challenge to overcome. However, my methods have allowed me to mix quantities of subjects over the years: political science, sociology, intercultural management, anthropology, museology... Versatile and jack of all trades, I have also followed various personal development training courses. , or even in art therapy. Today I am taking up a challenge that invites me to explore other ways of enriching myself and learning: I am starting my 3rd year at the Institute of Music and Pedagogy in Namur where I train in singing classic. These studies differ in many aspects from those I have accomplished so far. Therefore, they offer me the chance to seek to understand all the more how to adapt my methods to very diverse subjects. In this busy course, I have been giving private lessons for over 10 years. I am enriched by contact with the students and it is a wonderful reward to see them develop their own methods and rediscover their abilities and skills.

Trusted teacher: The students I support are 200% supported, during and between our lessons. Parents can contact me at any time to take stock. It is about restoring confidence, empowering and instilling a taste for efficient work. The purpose of the first meeting is to get to know the student and determine his current level in mathematics, what are his strengths and weaknesses, and what are the objectives to be achieved. From the observation, I establish with the student and his parents an educational assessment (notions to be reviewed as a priority, working method, duration and frequency of lessons) aimed at best meeting the student's objectives. Our weekly meetings aim to unblock the student, show him the systematic nature of each question and help him understand why it is necessarily such a formula or such property that applies, and how to write it rigorously in control. We work directly on DST topics to familiarize ourselves, well in advance, with the questions and problems that lie ahead on D-Day. METHODOLOGY First of all I learn about the resources available to the student (lessons from his teacher, exercises, supervised homework, homework ...) in order to see with him what is causing him problems. Then for each problem encountered, I suggest that he try to find a solution with clues. If he still can't find it then I show him a solution and then I make him discover variants. At each stage of my demonstrations, I invite the student to ask me questions to make sure he understands. Then at the end of each session I suggest additional exercises. Indeed, at the end of each session, I give a few exercises of a level of difficulty similar to those covered during the course to allow the student to review the concepts seen together and to permanently assimilate his course. In case of difficulty, the student can send me an email or call me at any time so that I can help him from one session to another. So know that you are not "cut out" for math. Whatever your "predispositions", with good supervision you can succeed! Interested? No situation is hopeless. Contact me ! Mathematically, Houda
