The language lessons English and Dutch are provided by me, Rita. I have years of experience in giving private lessons in English and Dutch to children and adults, from beginner to HBO level. The lessons are always completed in consultation with and to the needs of the student. For students who are behind, who have to take exams or re-exams in English, we look at the course material together and draw up a plan based on it. For clients who want to take their English conversation to a higher level, I have a learning method that includes the following: reading, pronunciation, conversation and grammar. I can also help with preparations for job interviews, selection procedures for colleges and universities, and for the Cambridge, TOEFL and IELTS exams. I can also offer help with writing a thesis or thesis in both Dutch and English. Together with you I will look at the layout, word use, sentence structure and the correct application of the grammar rules. By doing this together, you will gain information and knowledge that can be used for future records, reports and the like. I can also put together a tailor-made plan for Dutch people who want to improve their speaking or writing skills, completely focused on your personal needs. Whether it concerns English or Dutch language lessons, homework is a regular component. I always take into account the time that a student can and wants to spend on this. Because one-to-one lessons require a high level of concentration from the students, the lesson usually lasts no longer than an hour and a half. My experience is that regular, short and intensive lessons achieve better results than irregular and long lessons.
