My methods of teaching varies on each individual.

I generally start to focus on music theory, techniques, repertoire and understanding music emotionally using dynamics, feeling, touch and hearing skills.
The emotional part of music is very prominent when I teach, it is very important for the student to enjoy what they're learning and to also have access to be able to express themselves through music.

Some students are better at learning by ear, improvising and composition, some other students are better with music theory and learning repertoire.
